Donnie Gentry update
 

Donnie was checked out at our local hospital early this morning and has 2 upper cervical discs herniated and will see the neurosurgeon this week to see what, if any, needs to be done. Has some numbness in his fingers this morning. Thanks to all that have called and asked.

Get Well Man!! I have enjoyed racing with you in the past and was hoping to some more in the future but it sounds like it might be time to relax.

Donnie , ha get well , had the same injuries from sprinters , 5 and 6 out of place , my neck is so out of shape . Oh well thats racing do it all over again. GET WELL and call Denny and get him wrenching again. PM me if you get time . Take care of that neck good luck with the Racing .:24::34:

Get well son, Donnie. As I've said many times, there isn't a family in this part of the country that has proven their love for sprint car racing more than the Gentry family has. Through thick and thin, good economies and bad, these guys have always found way to put sprinters on the track.

Donnie went to the doctor today and he has to have surgery on tuesday on he's c4 and c5. He'll be at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Thank you for all your support.

Donnie get well soon man my brother just had spine surgery at Muncie almost 2 weeks ago and he came back to work this past monday after being out from the pain and numbness for about a month or more. They finally got him in and fixed and back to work pretty quick. So they can fix it man.

Donnie had surgery today, and went really well.fusion on multi levels , but the bad news is , his 28 yr. career is over, he says he wants to get back in a car once more to get out on his terms , and not a crashing term.He has absolutely no regrets, hes met/made lots of great friends, over the years .
