July 4th Weekend in Indiana

Looks like non wing sprints at Bloomington and Gas City on Friday Nite. Lincoln Park, Twin Cities, Paragon and TSS on Saturday Nite.
Kokomo on Sunday Nite. Curious as to what drivers and fans are going where?
I think Bloomington Friday nite but not sure about Saturday nite with 4 tracks running.

Bloomington on Friday. That track and the racing there have been the best, this year. Then on to Tri-State Speedway on Saturday. That's a "can't miss", too. The same group of heavy hitters always show up to battle it out for the MSCS money. Plus, you know the track's going to be perfect.

Boys' night out at Gas City with son, son-in-law, grandson/Sword Man all joining me. Twin Cities on Saturday night followed by Kokomo on Sunday night.

Eagerly awaiting an early out offer from my employer.

Careful what you wish for Danny boy! They may give you the "easy" out and let you work the window at the main post office.:14::15::3:

I hate to say it but I think there will be some slim car counts at certain tracks over the weekend. Just too many tracks trying to run the same nights. Saturday you have to toss the Waynesfield show in also as that will take some drivers there. Going to be interesting.

I would say you are probably correct. Fans will have a number of choices to make this weekend as well. Friday night you have the normal Gas City and Bloomington races but you throw in the ASCT show at Union County and that makes three tracks running sprint cars just in Indiana alone.

Saturday night has the regular shows at Paragon, Lincoln Park and Waynesfield. Add to that the MSCS show at Tri State and Twin Cities hosting sprint cars and you have 5 tracks in the region running traditional sprint cars. Along with that you have USAC running midgets at Angel Park thus taking some of the sprint car drivers away.

Also in the area, KC Speedway will be hosting the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday night and for the pavement sprinters Dixie Speedway and Owosso Speedway in Michigan host the Auto Value Super Series on Friday and Saturday respectively.

I spoke with a team source last night. The Foxco 53 will sit out tonight, but will be at TSS and Kokomo this weekend.

Tell me about it Dick. Every weekend I read what's going on in the area and I find myself wishing I was there.

There will be comparatively few sprint B Mains run this weekend. Not good that lower buck teams are parked right now. But the percentage of quality teams is higher and the racing itself hasn't suffered, by and large.

Going Rogue this weekend. Just one show for me.
Waynesfields Road to the Hewitt Classic. About the same distance for me as TCRP but I hope it has a real catch fence.
