Radar does not look good at all. I doubt very much common sense will prevail tonight.

:7:I am currently in that band. Dumping a lot of rain. Wouldn't hold my breath. We are loaded up and ready but unfortunately it looks like for tomorrow at Farmer City. Hopefully if the rain out they will call it early and save us all some travel and money.

The Danville area is very weird as far as weather.....There were several times last year when the radar looked like the track was getting a downpour and we had no rain at all.....HOPE See you there!!!!! :6:

Been watching the radar all morning, and it does appear to be a rather fast moving line of rain. Also, there's not nearly as much "red" on the radar as when the line was near the MO/IA state line earlier this morning.

But I'm still not holding out a lot of hope for tonight.

just started lite rain , appears to be breaking up , last year we were here for mscs show , noon they could've had boat races , they got the show in.

It rained here but not much. North of Springfield 30 miles. It's not doing anything now?

;) If they do get through this band now without getting too much weather channel says from 7pm till midnight 80% chance of Strong thunderstorms. This must be what it feels like to piss in to the wind!!!!! (LOL)

Or to piss away nearly $3/gallon gas getting over there. I wish them the best of luck on getting this show in, but I think I'm going to punt on this deal and try for Farmer City tomorrow night.

Steve Thomas announced on another thread the show is rained out at Danville tonight, but will be run tomorrow night at Danville instead of Farmer City. They plan to reschedule Farmer City due to wet conditions.
