MSCS or KISS either one, DON'T qualify. So that would be an no. $4000 to win / $400 to start is nothing to sneeze at, so they should have about everybody they had last week, plus some. And having a $3000 to win / $300 to start race @ Bloomington the night before, isn't going to hurt matters, either.

The KISS web site shows Puterbaugh is 4th in points. Anyone know if he will try to make the trip down 41 on Sat?

i talked to Clauson and he said they wont make it back in time...they race Friday night in PA

They have plenty of time to make it back! They will probably be exhausted.

Trust me, I've made the trip from Haubstadt to PA a few time's and it's not fun. There is no good way to get there.....that I know of. You either have to go down 71 through Cincinnati, past Lawrenceburg, and hit 65 I believe, through Louisville Kentucky, to Evansville and up 41 to Haubstadt, And just to get to 71 is about a 6 hour drive. Or you take 70 all the way to Terre Haute and down 41 to Haubstadt. Either way is about an 11 hour drive, by car. And in the rig I would guess its 13+ hours. I love Haubstadt as much as you local's, but the drive to or from, is BRUTAL, BRUTAL, BRUTAL.....So if anyone from the Eastern Swing show's up, you should applaud them AND buy a t-shirt, because they love to race :31:

P.S....I meant the DRIVE is not fun, not Haubstadt....;)

Chase Stockon depending on tonights results in PA. is planning on trying to make it back.

Hopefully the #10 or #3 car was able to be put back together, again. He was just screaming around that track, last Sunday. Thanks again to the Cunningham family. Their contribution has turned a standard paying MSCS event into a $4000 to win / $400 to start show. IMO, that puts it into a different category, in terms of driver drawing power.

They are calling for strong storms early on Saturday. Earlier the better, I hope. Unless called off early, I will be there.

Shoot, if it rains early in the day, itll be awesome. With the rain the track got last weekend, yes, I was there and got drenched, and they still raced so Im not worried about a few thunderstorms early on in the day. :3:

According to Weather Underground, the further South you go tomorrow, the less likely you are to see rain. Right now, they have Haubstadt listed at 20% for tonight and tomorrow, both.

yes i will be there in the 71p of steve and carla phillips. In 16 years of sprint car racing i have never been there so i am ready. :6:

Looking forward to seeing you! I didn't realize you had been racing sprint cars for sixteen years. Seems like it wasn't that long ago that you had to decide whether to play football for your high school or race your sprint car.
