Dave I hate to ***** here but do you have to put up an advertising post every single day?? You were pimping next Saturdays race on Sunday for God's sake. Looking back you average about 1 ad message per day. I understand that you bought an ad and therefore get more leeway but dude you are wearing me out.

Hey Pine, last time I was there that HARF promoter of the year had an awful lot of butts in his seats so i think he must be doing a pretty good job. Have you been there yet?

Keep posting away, Dave. I dont get to Lawrenceburg all that much every year,but I dont mind your promotional ads one bit. How many other promoters post here and say that if you dont come to my track,at least go to one of the other ones running?

Keep up the good work Dave. Remember what they say "Pimpin aint easy". People have just gotten so use to race track operators and forgotten what race track promoter is. If Dave wasn't on here all the time people would say he could afford to pay more if he promoted a little.

I'm promoting and keeping everyone informed of whats going on. Sorry if it bothers anyone who has to endure the pain of opening one of my posts and read through it. I bet your back reading this post again to see what kind of rise you got?

p.s. i did say five and only showed 4, oops.....check out the schedule on the website. Add june 19th, USAC Midgets, Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprints $1500 to win, if we get racer support the next 3 or 4 weeks we will increase the purse for sprints on the USAC midget show.

Not trying to get a rise out of anyone Dave just stating my opinion and you know what opinions are like....everybody's got one. Dont really care one way or the other what anyone thinks of it. You arent the only one doing it thats for sure, just the most frequent.

Dave, 5th place, 27 cars, and only $350 I thought it was a mistake, I like the money on the top, but maybe they could be increased throughout the field some also ,thats only $125 more than last place, thanks for your cooperation.

Incredible!!! We have, basically, a Non-wing Openwheel site here. We have an energetic and dedicated promotor putting the word out about up and coming srint car shows, on said forum, and some clown criticizes him for it???????? Dave, I look for the very information you're putting on this site and I commend you on your efforts to promote the sport and your business on this site. I'm totally astonished by some of the responses on here!!!!!!!! :11: :7:

Dave has already made an adjustment to remedy that from last years purse. jwr11, bring some more friends with you when you come to the track and encourage everyone else you know to do the same thing, and maybe the purse can be increased. As of now, if you look up in the stands, neither you, nor our team, have drawn the interest of enough people to put the butts in the seats to pay any more. Go find a track that pays more for a 5th place finish on a Saturday nite and race there!

JWR, I advertise the purse here and on the website, so there wont be any surprises at payout.
here is the payout that has been increased 4 times in the 4 years since i have had the track. This year i raised the lower spots 9th-20th.
I am pretty sure our purse is more than most tracks around.

I do approve of promoting racing Dave but Gas City, Bloomington & Kokomo do pretty well posting once a week about their shows unless there is weather on race day. I understand you have more competition for the racing $ on Saturday than those tracks do. I also know that when people have complained about track conditions or cooler policy etc at those other tracks that the promoter didnt get on here and bang on the poster either. It was an opinion plain and simple. Get some thicker skin and move on with your business.

we should all be grateful for a guy like Jwr11 who brings his cars and drivers every week to entertain sprint car fans. i would bet that he cant even drop the trailer door for 1500 dollars at a sprint car race. i dont think there are any fans in the stands because if you look at last week we all had to watch about three hours of hobby stocks and modified races after the sprint car heats before we watched it rain.if i wanted to watch that id go to brownstown.nothing like promoting sprint car racing to get a million stock cars.smells like back gate to me.350 for fifth? wow.

Thank your lucky stars you HAVE the future stars in this business running in the Stock divisions. Without them you have NOTHING.

And we didnt have a million stock cars at Brownstown on Saturday, just 34 Late Models. Only 999,966 short of the goal :(

are there any tracks in america that don't run support classes during their weekly shows? if their is the promotor is stuuuuuuuuuuupid. hell, even most of the usac shows have support classes. if i'm not at a race for at least 4 hrs. i feel ripped off. lol

Being from southern California I usually don't have much to say here, but I can't help myself by making the following comment. I don't know Dave Rudisell and I have never been to Lawerenceburg (though I hope to one day). My opinion probably doesn't mean much, but out here now we have waited about seven weeks for the next USAC/CRA show @ Perris. So my comment is this - Mr. Rudisell is a promoter - period and from what I gather is very dedicated to putting on a good show every week. Support classes are what makes everything work and even though I might not be a fan of the supporting class of race cars it is how the promoter makes everything possible for us sprint car fans. Way to go Mr. Rudisell - I hope one day to meet you and be at your fantastic race track! :8: :8:

Plain and simple, the guy has paid for a banner on this site. He can post as many props for his track as he wants to!

The people / organizations we need to be bashing are the guys who come on here for FREE ADVERTISEMENT. There are several of these out there!!!

Got a name? Isn't what the teams make between the track and the teams? Was not all classes listed when you decided to visit?
Two of the other three classes was openwheel and feeder classes for sprints, Brady Short, Shane Cottle, Jeff Bland? came from Modifieds.

And I'll damn well say it here, LBurg Mods put on one hell of a show, You just don't show up at the burg and make the feature, Thats a feat in itself.

Last year Dave paid out more in the sprint ranks alone than probably 3 indiana sprint car tracks combined
With at least five ten grand to win races and two five grand races. Did he not start 24 if only 24 showed up last year? Some tracks only start 18 and most 20.

He said hes working on it, He usually runs three classes I think the street stocks got a boost from a upcoming 1000 to win show. (Didn't bother me a bit) If not for rain, we'd of been out of there by 11
