Lawrenceburg Speedway tonight
 

The racing is looking great for this evening. The weather is going to the north and west of us!! If you can't make the race tonight listen to a live broadcast at www.eaglecountryonline.com they will be doing live audio starting at 7pm. This is their 1st time broadcasting a race so give them a chance.

Mother Nature is certainly being uncooperative with my plans. Made two big trips last weekend for Rain and Fence cancellations.

Radar isn't looking good for THAT and Putt but they might get em in. Im canceling 6+ hours of driving and two tanks of gas for what I know will be a good show at THE BURG! :)

The good news is the rain is breaking up on the westside of the state.
The weather looks really great for the Burg tonight so enjoy youself at the BURG, wish I was there.

hey guys.we just moved up to mini sprints this year from 10 years of karting and have heard alot of good things about the "burg" so we hope to see ya all there when they run the minis. Nick Grubb

If you're fair skinned and planning to arrive at The 'Burg early (before sundown) for tonight's racing, I'd advise bringing along some PF40 (or higher) sunscreen. Plus extra money for Bud or bring some Pepsis.

Don't want anyone getting sunburned or chancing a heatstroke. ;):2:;)

Its 2:45am I had a blast tonight at THE BURG! Two drivers who would have loved the track tonight were not there Ballou and Gardner but thats ok We had 27 quality race cars including some arriving after Drivers meeting. After a short rain delay we resumed to a lightning fast track that increased about a second in speed after the first ten laps of the feature. Mods were even turning 15s after the sprints were done and TQs 17 flat.

Congrats to Brady and Don Short and crew on their victory They earned it! Clarke might have got him with a few more laps Who knows? the flag has to fall sometime :) Riggs has found another gear and after great qualifying at Eldora backed it up with a fast run tonight, Cant remember the name of the white with green number 9 but he ran good.

DD was going really good in the feature but stayed topside while others had found middle and low grooves but I was glad to see him and the Goodnight Pallet Builder car come in at the last minute.

Windom I wasn't there last week but tonight he blew a motor in the blue walker car in his heat Pulled out the white one started the back of the B. Started near rear of the A and after lap two was in 8th. Windom will put on a show All by himself :)

Just glad everyone is safe We got the show in Thanks to Rudy and crew for not giving up and after 12 years of weekend shifts I stayed for all features!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

BTW, It was great watching the 3/4 midgets on the Burg, Last years show was just starting the series Much improved I must say Sliders in 3/4ers :) Also listening to Gary Lee on a stadium type soundsystem like Burgs is second to none, He was a bit rusty last year as well but has dusted off nicely :)

Thanks for the updates. Charles, the 9 car was Russ Harper, thanks for the positive comment. His Mom and I own the car, Russ built it (DRC), Jimmy Light was crewing last night. Dave Conn built the -12 head engine. This will be Russ' second year in a sprint.

I never saw Russ race before but we all noted in hot laps that Russ looked comfortable in the car. He stayed near the front the whole race and considering the quality of drivers he was racing against that is saying something.

I hope you guys return to the 'burg so I can stop by and say hey. And hopefully Jimmy Light will be done crewing and back racing.
