WTG BC and the Corey Tucker Team!

A chilly but awesome feature, no doubt!

Hats off to Hud Cone who drown the wheels off the #14 Cone Corry Racing. Another flat tire late in the race cost him a top ten or possibly a top 5 finish.

Awesome way to open racing at TSS!!!

As expected it was slide job city tonight. The crazy thing is after a 100 lap midget race and a 20 lap mini sprint race the track was still tacky and in great shape(a lot better than some tracks in the area start the night). So again a big shout out to Tommy and crew. I bet BC is really starting to like Haubstadt.

BC has now won pretty much all the big midget races in the country except the Chili Bowl. The Hut 100, Turkey night, Belleville, Hall of Fame classic, Midget week, Joe James/Pat O'Connor Classic, the Vogler Classic. Pretty amazing, way to go B!!

What more could you ask for. Less than 20 laps left and the stage was set for the three best midget drivers in the country to battle it out for all the marbles. It was a furious fight between BC and Kuhn. That was high quality, top-shelf warfare. Jerry Coons was right there, but just didn't quite have anything for Bryan at the end. And how about Caleb Armstrong!! It looked like he was going to fade some, several times during that race and he regrouped and came charging back. He has shown a lot of improvement in the sprinter on several occasions this year, but the 2010 Hut Hundred will be looked back on as the day he stepped up and put himself at another level.

The last thing that really stands out was how the track held out and stayed tacky for all 100 laps. The fans came out in droves and were not disappointed. Tommy and his guys really hit one out of the park tonight, as far as track preparation goes. But this is the Babe Ruth of that genre, so that's not exactly a big surprise. What a great night at the track!!!

Jerry

Wheels and elbows up. Passed up both Paragon and vernon to get here, but it is ALWAYS worth it. If you missed this one you missed what will undoubtedly be one of the top 5 shows this year.

We even got a couple clips on the Speed Report (Except it sounded like the called it Tri City Speedway:14:). Nice work Dean and whoever was filming in the infield. :6:

I moved down low for the last few laps and Kuhn's motor was sounding pretty sour as he was falling back thru the field.

That's too bad, he was STOUT for most of the race. At the time I thought he might have used up his tires trying to stay ahead of Bryan and Jerry. It was a great race.
