Well let's see if one of his heros win. All those guys got a race car and he don't seem to have one.

I'm sure it was a poor attempt at being funny. I don't think he meant to be insulting.:19:

How is that insulting :11: There were rookies, there were locals, there were no bodies and there were hillbillies wether it be on the track or in the stands, mostly in the stands though :3: :3: By the way I had a great time last night at Paragon

I don't care what a person's level of education or income might be, if they're at a dirt track on a Saturday night, they're at least a little red in the neck area. It's like Jeff Foxworthy has said, you can paint a pumpkin black, but that still don't make it a bowling ball. So, we're ALL "hillbillies" in that sense. And there's nothing wrong with that.

As for the "rookies" line, most of them have thousands of laps in a racecar before they ever strap into a firebreathing sprint car. And for the "nobodies" comment, sorry, not everyone can be so fortunate to be able to have the funding to go out and run with USAC. But it's not exactly like one can go out and buy a "low" dollar sprinter at Wal Mart, either.
