usac eastern swing?
 

Does anyone know what teams are going to make the eastern swing this year? Should be some good racing with the addition of lincoln speedway and new egypt speedway. Just wish the PA. drivers would take off their wings and race.

He has a 410 but dont think he will risk messing it up. He has limeted funds and is running the grove on friday nights.

That's just from looking at the points and past participants.
Stanbrough-has run in the past(Baldwin #5), but stays to run KISS I think?

Cottle-Came with Contos, never with Edison(I don't think?)

Hagen-Came when he was with Kunz...now?

I did hear that pa's Brent Marks purchased Billy Pauch's ZEMCO car over the off season, But that leaves Billy without a ride.

From what I understand,USAC tried to schedule a date in Ohio on the way back from the Eastern Swing, but prolly won't happen.

Looks like 13 entered so far, with a few more already verbally confirmed. Quite a few are still deciding. Entry deadline is May 25th, so it'll clear up quite a bit in the next week or two...

I do hope USAC bring's a good car count, I dont think many PA guy's will run, most are not able to run with out wing's and a few that can are not racing this year.

I guess that's sounding pretty good so far, I figured 15 would be the over/under this year...Try to keep us updated Spridge, because as of right now I'm not even taking off work. I wiil catch Lincoln's race and thats it, unless the car count goes up....

CTtoPA, I don't know what their plans are for the week of the Eastern Swing....My guess is, if there's an MSCS OR KISS race in Indy that weekend that's where they'll be....Not sure though..

c4, I wish they were coming East. I was looking forward to seeing Robert riding the Montieth groove at Lincoln (highside) NON WING STYLE...That would have been awesome....BUTTTTTTTTT...:19:

The goal is taking 20 guys from Indiana. I think that's very likely at this point...

If your sure on the 20 count, I probably will take off work...As for the money, I "WAS" working on a deal for Robert, then, well, I'm sure you know what happened....I wish I could find the money to bring them ALL East....

I thought there was a race on June 5th but I guess not. The KISS race at Haubstadt is Sat. June 5th so maybe some of the teams could make it back in time for that one but it's a long haul from Big Diamond to Haubstadt.

ASCS Nat. tour is racing at Muskogee and I-30 that weekend so Hockett will prolly be at those races.

What will it take to get more teams out there...Will raising the ticket price $2-5 more and use that money for tow money help?
