Way to go Dakoda! Great to see you win one so soon. The race is being rebroadcast from 8:30 to 11:00 pm CENTRAL time on Speed. I would guess it will start at 7:30 in Indiana, but who knows what the schedules are.

As probably the lone Canadian around these parts, I was obviously pulling for Steve Arpin.

But as someone who's been making trips to Indiana for the last 6 seasons I was glad to see Dakoda win.

I was watching on my Iphone, while my wife and I drove our daughter and her 2 friends around. That phone is a race fan's dream. I can't wait to watch USAC and whatever else is on Speed while I am at a racetrack.

The Venturini team has really stepped it up this year, ESR isn't so hot this season. Not sure if the comment about low budget and inferior team was being sarcastic... they won 10 of 21 races last year. From Dakoda's first ARCA start 12 races ago he really stepped it up.

I would like to say congrats to Dakoda and the whole Armstrong bunch and especially Kevin Besecker. Dakoda is doing a great job and had a great bunch of people to get him where he is today.

:6:First lets start with the actual race. It was pretty good. Cautions hit right at the point when it was getting boring. I give ARCA a nod they put on a good show. Now to the finish. Dakota A. and Tom Hessert desserve a big pat on the back. Both of those guys got up on the wheel after the last caution. It almost seemed as if they were the only 2 trying to steel the victory. Tom got to much of a push and it looked like the guy behind lifted his rear tires off of the ground sending him to the back. Going into the final corners it was Tom and Dakota. Dakota had everything go right and brought home the victory. Both did a heck of a job, and made the end of that race VERY exciting. patrick Sheltra is another short track guy that had a great run finishing 2nd. 2 years ago I watch him win a late model feature at Union County Speedway. Hopefully the win will get some sponsors on the side of that 22. Great job guys!

Sitting in the Tri Oval Tower at Talladega, I was thrilled to see young Mr. Armstrong take it to victory lane. I was also proud to let a number of NASCAR folks sitting around us know that he came from open wheel racing. So many people were asking "who this kid was and where did he come from". A shout out to Hessert and Sheltra as well in driving the wheels off.:31:
