Well i got my update from the other short guy. Are you sure they are seeing all the cars...:3::3:

Here is your update.....typical Eldora. So blasted dusty they have to stop the proceedings and water after hotlaps. What an embarassment to anyone involved.

Just spoke with a friend who is there and he says the dust is covering the motorhomes out in lot 2. And he verified the 26 cars.

As I live and breath they started an hour late, ran three hot lap sessions and the wheels fell off at that point. Push trucks are going back out now.

Because it is a USAC race Superduke, they feel they don't have to advertise or promote anywhere they go, their loyal fans will just show up. The fact they are coming back to Oswego is the best kept secret in the Oswego area right now, why would Eldora be any different?

eldora speedway is the promoter not usac! Larry would not make a pimpel on a real promoters ass and there are very few out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!:14::15:

Grader and water trucks are still on the track!!

Grater came on the track at about 820p completely reworking it.

Duke, no matter where I have traveled to follow USAC there has been no advertising or promoting, it is a huge pet peeve of mine. Actually I had a one on one discussion with one of the Oswego Speedway personnel today, had a few questions of my own and some from friends in the mid-west that hope to come to Oswego. USAC is renting the Oswego Speedway for the August race, I knew that before I got to Oswego. The race is listed as a TBA on the Oswego Website at this time and no talk what so ever in Oswego press releases because they are receiving no information from USAC. Maybe all the blame doesn't fall on Larry for no Dayton advertising.

We are running 30 second commercials on tv starting on this coming monday for our USAC show, its running on cable during the Reds games for the next 2 weeks. I called speed sport news last week to let them know that our USAC race was'nt even on thier schedule, They said they would add it. Just gotta do some things on your own.:3:

Good things they didn't advertise for tonight. You would probably drive any new fans away without them even seeing racing! Tony needs to quit worrying about the suites, jumbo=trons, etc. and just get a race track back

Jesse Hockett "The Rocket" ~The Official Fan Page~ working the track and going to try and finish hot laps....if track is still in as bad of shape, they are going to cancel tonights race....unbelieveable....word is, the fans actually booed after hot laps regarding the track conditions....

I'll second that. I was still thinking about making the 6 hour trip this morning and decided to stay home and work instead.

Eldora personnel really need to wake up. I realize the track has great history, but they aren't going to be able to survive on that forever. People have so many other entertainment options now, let alone all the other tracks that are run like they know what they are doing.

15,000 gallons, is that all? Oh wait we are practicing only tommorrow morning. Yep I missed it tonite, didn,t get back from getting my son till 8:30 or so. I should be there bout 8-ish or so. To bad we don,t have a Usac show this week, we'd still be there watering, cuz watering a race track is FUN!!!!!
