Lawrenceburg Speedway Updates..

Just a few updates as we are getting very close to racing.
You asked for it and now your getting it!! A scoreboard is in the works!!
Its looking like it will be finished around mid April. We will also have transponders on all cars that race, and the best part it won't cost the racers anything for the transponders. The scoreboard will be located in the infield, and it has 3 sides for great viewing.

Other news is we have paved the backstretch road all the way to the pits and have graveled all of the pits, we are working on paving a push off chute in the back off the pits to warm motors.

Our weekly purse is the biggest in the state again and we always guarantee our payout. Never any suprises at the payout window and no secret payouts. Below is our weekly payout:
2010 Purse Structure
Sprint Cars Feature
1. $1,500
2 .$800
3. $600
4 .$400
5. $350
6. $300
7. $275
8. $250
9. $225
10. $225
11. $225
12. $225
13. $225
14. $225
15. $225
16. $225
17. $225
18. $225
19. $225
20. $225

Other improvements: Our new website will be launch in the next few days.
We will be making and serving Larosa's Pizza at the turn 4 concession stand.
Once again in 2010 we will allow small coolers to be carried into the track so you can pack a snack and a soda to save money. {No carry in or out of alcohol}

We are very excited about our Diamond Anniversary Season (60 Years)
and as we move forward look for some big announcements and special shows in 2010.
For our Season opener on April 10th, some lucky ladies may end up with some Diamond ear rings in addition to win money...more details very soon....
Thanks to everyone for your support of Lawrenceburg Speedway and a great 60 years of racing!!

That new score board blocks my view and the lights give me a head ache:20::20:
I don't know why you put it there I would have put it some where else:2:

Larosa's Pizza served at the track. That makes the trip to the 'Burg even better.

I was all excited about everthing said until I saw La Rosa's. JMO, that is the worst pizza in metro Cincinnati. Just trying to be sort of funny, but I do not like their pizza. To each his own I guess.

How about some three-ways or coneys from Skyline, Gold Star, or the like at the track?

Scoreboard sounds great, lets go racin'!

Thanks Dave.

The pizza is a optional concession item, we won't force anyone to eat them. Our boy Aero problem is by the time he gets into the track he will see 3 scoreboards!! lol, see you all soon.

I was wondering how that mulch thing was going to work. seems like cars with mud would just pick it up and throw it everywhere.

Good news all around. I appreciate all the teams that race here. and of course IOW's POY

Now if you can just figure out where the previous promoter bought his chicken fingers from and go back to those I'd be 1st in line to get them

We only have mulch by the exit of the track to the tech building, had it there last season for the last few events and it worked fine.
Thanks, Dave

That would be nice Gregg, but admit it.......we would sit on tree stumps as long as Cheri, our favorite 50-50 ticket seller, came by a couple of times per night.

the guys in section a are so old they will never hear anything you have to say or could it be to much noisy racing.

when you are trying to make racing plans and you have out of state fans coming in $ 12.00 and great sprint car count it sounds like twin cities is the place to go. we love the burg and can not get info. and we must make plans on what to do.. go to eldora :9: the burg :9: and the way it looks now twin cities is the place to go $ 12 and carry in you snacks and beer at the same time :32:we will be at the burg and come early and set up the grill and cook out and have a great time like always. but we would all like to make plans and the burg schedule seems like they dont want us to make plans :34:we all hope the best for all the tracks and wish all the teams and racing fans the best for2010 season :23: :22:

Ok, help me out. I looked all over the L'burg website, and I couldn't find ticket prices, except for kids. I'm sure it is hiding in plain sight, but any info you could give me would be great.

Dave, still lobbying for steps going up hillside at pit grandstand. We could take a spade and cut some out of the dirt,if nothing else.

Yea! They could do group qualifying. This would be unique for any track to do for regular shows. It might bring in MORE cars.:23:

Dave, how about a couple of those small bleachers as a permanant fixture on the backstretch. It gets a little crowded and you can't sit and see the races sometimes.:6:
