For me, Eldora's also 3.5 hours away. Twin Cities is about...ooohhh...15 minutes. I think I'll take my chances with Twin Cities. There should still be some good cars there. Probably Brady Short, Jeff Bland Jr., Nic Faas won it last year...not sure if he'll be there or not. But it should still be a good show.

Poor Scheduling by twin cities :15:, wait another week when there are no USAC sprint car races scheduled, with a purse of $4000 to win, you would have a large car count with the best sprint car drivers in the world ready to put on an amazing show for your fans!

Wait another week when all the other tracks in Indiana are opening? :14:

Why should a track schedule a race around the USAC schedule? If you think about it, several teams might not attend the Twin Cities race if they thought USAC teams might go to it. I think you might get more cars this way and thats fine with me!! If I wanted to see a USAC race I would go to a USAC race that's why I will be at the Twin Cities race on April 3rd! This way a non-USAC team has a chance to win $4,000!!

Thanks to Twin Cities and the Fleetwoods for having this race and other sprint car races this year and THANKS to INDIANA STONE WORKS and DON SHORT for supporting those races!!

Sprint car racing is not all about USAC!!

How many times has USAC scheduled against someone, once THEIR schedule has been set ? I say great job Fleetwoods.

I will be at Eldora. I don't get there too often, since I only go to non wing shows. Hope it works out good for everyone.

I agree totally with spd 37. I attended this race with him and some other buddies. It was a good show hopefully this year.s is just as good. The little guys need a shot at winning big money too.

MASON what is the age limit for the pits I need to bring my 11 year old in. And don't worry about what the people say your treating people right, from what I can tell. And we really appreciate that. And from what I can tell you don't have to run usac woo or all stars or what ever to be the best you just have to have a good day.

Re: 'NO WAY OUT 40' $4000 to Win @ TCRP 4/3

We do not set any age limits for the pit area...children 12 & under are at a discounted price to pit area...on april 3rd a child pit pass will be $20.00..( a minor release will need to be filled out)

Mason looks at everyones schedule carefully before completed the Twin Cities schedule that is why it is usually released later than other tracks and sanctioning bodies. No other sprint shows around in Indiana on April 3rd had everything to do with that date.

We sincerely appreciate the positive remarks and responses!:)

nothing against twin-cities other than the time i drove 325 miles and back because the promoter that night wouldn't pay a bulldozer to fix the track. great track but eldora is a national usac event and 175 miles closer for me. i think the date is fine because when things get going there are at least several shows going on in the same night with sprint cars within a 200 mile radius. 35 cars at north vernon and 30 or so at eldora..pray for decent weather.

Well looking at the pictures from this race last year the track conditions don't look any different or better than Eldora. :11:

Their website now says that if you go out during a red and come back you will now start on the tail. This is a change from the first race and it looks like it is only for the sprint cars. The raceceivers will hopefully speed up the show.

twincitiespr 3/28/10 12:54 PM

Re: 'NO WAY OUT 40' $4000 to Win @ TCRP 4/3

That is correct.....for Sprint Drivers......

If you exit track and return, you will go on the tail. ( this announcement and any other valuable information will be made at drivers meeting so please plan on attending, that is why the meeting is mandatory)

Yes, raceceivers should speed up the program. We appreciate all who attended last Saturday 3/20 and hope to make the races even better this week:)
