Vegas USAC show update
 

Just got a text from Vegas. 33 Sprint cars, don't know the midget car count. Sprints hotlap first. From the text I received sounded like the track is pretty dry and hard.

Remember though its only 2:50 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon in Vegas. I don't understand why you would start a race this early in the middle of the week. Some people still work for a living.

WOW!!! Guess I just figured the time change would make it later in the day there, but I obviously wasnt thinking...that is odd!!! No wonder the track takes rubber and is dry

Track totally sucks , never gave any times after 2nd group of sprint qualifers . sprint almost stopping in the turns . I would guess maybe 75 people in stands.

Got a text that Jerry Coons is fast time in the sprints. No other info and i missed the live Qualifying....i'm trying to do to many things at one time.

Except it was the tracks scheudle. They're doing some stupid autograph session right now. USAC had nothing to do with it this time.

Sometimes Duke, I think you hit your head during crashes one too many times.

Not trying to bash you but since when is a autograph session stupid? How often does USAC hit Vegas? Those kids will be the ones entertaining you in 10-15 years

Ya it has been huggy pole so far. Hopefully a couple guys will be able to get the top blown off during the features but I doubt it happens. I wonder if the track is going to take any rubber...

Pushing A now. The track is better than the last time I was here. I think it will take rubber half way thew the A. I'll take this over sitting in the snow in Wisconsin!

When the Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway would have a race on the NASCAR weekends, the schedule was always messed up. I would imagine the same thing applies at LVMS. The dirt track show is always viewed as a support show for the big track.
