Local weather forecast here in the Phoenix area shows rain for the next three days clearing out on Tuesday. It started raining at my house at 8:21 A. M. this morning but didn't last long, this afternoon there is a 70 per cent chance of rain lasting into tonight.. Right now it looks like this should have been a one day show.

Just saw a weather update for the golf tounament being held in Tucson this weekend, high today off 54 with rain still forecasted. Sunday rain is forecast at night. Also just spoke with a friend in Tucson, it hasn't rained there yet today although very chilly and feels like it could. Rain has cleared at my house west of Phoenix.

I'm about 20 miles south of the track. Raining steadily here for the last hour and a half.

I just heard from a friend at 7:30 P. M., Az. time that it is still raining very hard in Tucson and he doesn't feel they will get the races in on Sunday.

Blue sky so far this morning at 8am. Looked at the track yesterday afternoon and the surface was sealed up tight, but the pits were a mess.

Dude!!....Its goin ta go!!.....rained some overnite,lookin good now 0730,sun out ,skies almost clear by airport!!....biggest problem will be sloppy pit area!!....hopn they'll pack'r in enough!!.......

It is 9:50am Sunday morning here at the track.

The weather looks good and everything is a go.

Racing starts at 1pm.
