Im wondering how incomplete this is, I mean it looks good but there are things obviously missing, Dick Gaines Classic, LBurg Nationals, WIlliams Grove and others.

Good to see IRP back on the ballot for the sprints

Also good to see Putt back in the USAC fold with a sprint and two midget dates.

Wow, the midget guys have to sit around in Cali for almost 3 weeks in between races. Plus, they have to carry dirt and pavement cars with them. I wonder about the "super" teams like Keith Kunz and Benic who run both sprint and midgets. They have to carry all that plus at least one dirt sprint car. That's a truck load.

i'm loving the west coast swing for the midgets at the end of the year...tulare, ventura, san bernardino, irwindale, and perris!

san bernardino is gonna be interesting...that place is pretty small for the midgets.

is tulare supposed to be 11/13 with the sprints instead of 11/1?

Two day National Midget show at Hickory. Thank you USAC. I just hope the weather in March cooperates.

This helps ease the pain of losing Richmond.

Earlier this year, the open Focus midget show with the USCS was excellent.

Also, an East Coast sprint show at Lincoln. Sweet!!! The last SCRA show there was incredible.

And the Salem/Winchester sprint shows within a week of each other. High bank heaven.

I believe this is one of the most interesting set of USAC schedules in years.

As a resident of ON, I am sure glad they are moving the entire town of Rossburg to Canada.....I know it's a typo right off USAC's site, but's it's always nice to dream..

Glad to see Toledo is back. Seeing a USAC show and being back home by 12:30 is a once a year treat for me.

Time to add a few dates to next years personal racing schedule.

Is the May 7-8 weekend with Bloomington and Haubstadt worth a 16 hour drive?

I have never been to either of them tracks and would like to add a few to my list next season.

You are so right. POWRi never has a good turnout at Jacksonville or Spoonriver Speedway. They never have good crowds at Macon either. WTH was I thinking? :15: :17:

I was glad to see all three divisons will return to Az. in 2010, when PIR and Manzy were both lost in the same year I was afraid USAC would not compete in Az. in 2010. While I am only two hours from that 3/8 mile track there is nothing like watching USAC run at Manzy and PIR and being able to go home after the races. Those Az. dates will be on my race scedule along with the Oswego, N. Y. Silver crown race.

All in all not a bad schedule. A couple of thoughts and comments.

*I was surprised with only 1 Winchester date.

*Sprints only at Salem, no midgets.

*Nothing at all at Vermilion County? 3 dates at Lincoln Park.

*I thought maybe a date at I-55 and/or Lucas Oil Speedway on the way to Belleville.

*No Hut 100 date.

*The Anderson date of 4/11 will probably be a day race not night like the schedule indicates.

you would happy to add any of them tracks to your list. they both have great tracks.but if you want to add a great list of great tracks to see the best dirt track racing you need to come during indiana speed for u.s.a.c. and you will see the best week of racing of the year and the best dirt tracks in indiana. come and have a great time in indiana!!!!!!!

this is a nice list of races but there are a few that I wouldn't buy my plane tickets just yet for. As of a couple weeks ago I know that the Oswego race was not a go yet.

There were lots of rumors that KC Raceway in Chillicothe, OH was working on a USAC sprint date-maybe that is still in the works. I won't buy a head & neck restraint just to run a USAC show, but I'd definitely be there.

Relatively OK schedule.
Looks pretty brutal on the competitors. IRP, Toledo, Sun Prarie - pavement, pavement, dirt Jul 1-4.
The Nov swing for midgets - dirt, dirt, pavement, pavement, dirt across 3 weeks? Again catering to the super teams....
Any midget drivers doing double duty on Sep 4-5 will be tired after the haul from Sun Prairie to Duquoin! Not to mention towing to Sun Prairie 2 weekends in a row (the 2nd weekend for a single event) is so economical for Indy based teams.

For a club that needs car count, the schedule doesnt appear to have considered what the competitors go through. Maybe there's a private jet in the works we haven't heard about yet.
For our current economic climate? These back to back dates will likely reduce ticket sales across all events.

WBR, it seriously cannot come out any earlier! It has come out on this very same day for a few years now, and the USAC schedules were actually out narrowly before the World of Outlaws this year. I'm just not sure how this "late" deal started...I could damn near set my watch to when the USAC schedules will come out.
