Perris results/short track results
If someone will post results, we sure would appreciate it. Can't get live stream here at short track nationals, or live timing. We will try to post heat winners and finishes as best we can . Thanks

Re: Perris results/short track results
Just curious...Does anyone know how Kruseman can finish 22nd in the B main, and still run the A?

Re: Perris results/short track results
Most series have provisionals.
|
Re: Perris results/short track results
The provisionals used at the oval nationals only allow them to compete in that event for cash. Not for Oval national points toward the finale. My guess is Krueser is high enough in CRA points to use one

Re: Perris results/short track results
I had a format question about Perris. Does anyone know if last night's results have anything to do with tonight's program? Are any of last night's top finishers locked into the A-main tonight or do they totally start over again? How about Saturday night's finale? Do last night's or tonight's results in the feature lock drivers into tomorrow night's race. Thanks in advance.

Re: Perris results/short track results
Last night's results have nothing to do with tonight's program. It is a complete new show. The combined points from last night and tonight determine where a driver will start on Saturday.
You guys are correct on the provisional points. If you use a provisional, you get your USAC National and CRA season long points, but you do not receive Oval Nationals points. Reason being: A driver could finish 20th (20th as an example) in the B main or the C, then take a provisional and earn points in the A main while the drivers who beat him in those races would not be able to earn main event points. That would not be fair. |
Re: Perris results/short track results
Thanks Scott for another Excellent Job on the PA!!...at da Pas!!....Noticed time trials last nite on the F.M. dial (????)in car ,but can you comment on ,where, how, when that all gets started???......thanks

Re: Perris results/short track results
Does anyone know waht happened to Dave? Did he qualify poorly and start way back or was it something else?:13::11:
Thanks for any information! |
Re: Perris results/short track results
Susan, last night Dave qualified only 25th quick. He did finish 3rd in his heat. But, his qualifying time is what hurt him. Tonight after 36 cars he is I think 4th quick. So that is much better. They have 51 cars total though so there are still 15 cars left to qualify. We shall see.
---------- Post added at 06:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:10 PM ---------- You did realize you can watch the race tonight right?? http://www.usacracing.com/usac_live/usac_live_main I guess Dave wound up 5th quick for tonight. That will be much better starting spot provided he makes it in through his heat. He should start in row 3 unless they do an invert of the top 6. Then he would start on front row!!! |
Re: Perris results/short track results
Thank you Pletchfan!! 5th quick tonight!! That is MUCH better!! Go Dave!!!!:8:

Re: Perris results/short track results
Wow I am thinking the B main line up is going to look like a feature!!! Seems like none of the faster qualifiers are making the transfer so far.
|
Re: Perris results/short track results
The track is fast and tacky hard to pass. The B should be good!:8:
|
Re: Perris results/short track results
I hope Dave Darland can be the exception and be the only one to make the transfer from the back row!!!! GO DAVE!!!
I am SO MAD at that 11 car right now. He was just WAY too agressive on the last lap!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Perris results/short track results
I was just SO upset because nobody has been able to make the transfer from the tail. Dave had it done!!! Then that happened coming down for the checkered. He will make it in through the B!!! GO DAVE. Susan just know that I am sitting here praying for him the same way I used to pray for TP when he was on the track and God WAS ALWAYS faithful. Dave will be ok.
