I was told Hocket, BC and Levi scratched b4 hotlaps because they were scheduled to start at the back of their heats haha. Kyle lost an engine in hotlaps...guess last night was pretty hard on it.

Just finished sprint heat races. Hearing that Levi and BC have scratched.

Well, since he probably is a scratch for the night he will only get show up points...but championship should have been wrapped up once he entered the pits.

LOL yep...guess they are used to the USAC format where u qualify good, finish in the back of hte heat, then start up front in the B and survive for 10-12 laps so they can start up front in the feature. Thats what racing is all about hahahahaha...:3:

Heat 2. Ty deckard. Casey riggs.

Heat 3. Stanbro. Bacon.

Heat 4. Cottle. Hunter.

Heat 5. Red flag for Clayton on the start. He was out and looked ok. Car doesn't look too bad.

Heat 6. Fitzpatrick. Tracy Hines.

B main 1. Top 4 transfer. Weir. Ballou. Gardner. Coons.

There is most likely a good reason. Starting at the rear of the heat that transfers two in what ten laps, right? Running alot of laps without real good odds of making the money show... End of the season motors and equipment getting used up. Leaving soon for the west coast swing with the sprint car. What does it pay to run mid pact of the B-Main?? I would bet it is more of an economic reason. I'm sure BC and Levi did not make their decision easily. I have no idea what the real reason is I'm only guessing, but it is safe to say it has nothing to do with them being "USAC" cry babies!!!!!!

Jon drove a great race, patient in getting by Windom, then patient again, but staying in front of Windom to get by Westerfeld. Track was fast but mainly one fast groove and Jon, Chris, and Damion all used it to their advantage, but then they couldn't get by each other. Damion had a great run from the back. Hi Jon's mom, the boy did great tonight. His typical humble self in Victory Lane. How many wins are we up to this year??
