Keith and Pete must be masochists. :emote20: Eight cars at one event. Not the first time either. They do it at the split shows too, with sprints and midgets both. That's a lot of work, obviously.:respect:

Is this a record for most entries? I can't recall any other teams with any more than 6 cars...

There's a trivia ? up on Midget Madness right now about that. It seems the Vital Express team had nine entries one recent year.

Dwight, I am pretty sure you will find that although there were 9 drivers in Vital Express colours, they were driving for several different teams with Vital Express sponsorship.

Chris Windom - Worked together last year
Bryan Clauson - Does not need to rent any ride
Matt Sherrill - I know nothing about this kid
Travis Rilat - Does not need to rent any ride
Cole Whitt - I belive will be working together all of this season
Jason Leffler - Does not need to Rent any ride
Caleb Armstrong - A kid that will be a champ with the right direction
Ricky Stenhouse - Does not need to rent any ride

Not putting anyone one of the above mentioned guys down; they're all good racers but I'm sure a little bit of money changed hands. Rilat is not someone I would have imagined getting a ride with Kunz.

Re: Keith Kunz Motorsports -Chili Bowl Entries

With out going all Don Moore on you guys....With the payout structure...I am sure some money came in somehow from all the drivers to get a ride in the best of the best equipment. Keith cant be gettin gthat much in return if some money isnt comming in to rent the rides. Not that there is anything at all wrong with renting a ride for the biggest midget race of the year. If I had a stack of money laying around I would try it, I may only race on Tuesdays Hot laps but It would be worth it!!

With some of them I think it was more of an entire season deal and not simply just the CB

You are right about Rilat and Kunz I would have never seen that one comming either but Travis is a hell of a shoe and is a prime example of a wing racer sheding the wing beating the Non-wingers at their own game then relizing he can make more money and race more with the wing and defelecting back into the world of wings

Me thinks Lanny and Emmit got Rilat the ride. Money definately changed hands in all of these situations though. Keith realistically can't afford to run one car let alone eight...

Not sure if it is true or not, but word has it that $7k changed hands for at least one of the Kunz rides last year.

Re: Keith Kunz Motorsports -Chili Bowl Entries

$7k, I thought it would be a lot more, but if that is the case.....I am starting my Chili Bowl Rent A Ride fund!! Anyone want to buy a 2007 ZX14??

:thumb::thumb::thumb: BTW, are talent and money mutually exclusive? In other words, somebody with money couldn't possibly be good behind the wheel? And somebody without money always has talent? I think not. That is all just somebody's opinion. There is no way to prove it.

I'm not sure too much money did change hands, it seems keith has been a little more generous this year with his rides. I know for a fact Brad sweet didn't contribute a dime for his Keith Kunz ride this year although he did get MF'd by Kunz at the Oval Nats over a point deal.:censor:
