Where can I find the rules for this year's turkey night? We had successful year this year and decided to go down and see what we can do non winged with the big boys. Any information on the race anywhere?

The race is promoted by the Agajanian Family as always. USAC sanctions the race for rules and points. The sprint cars are run under USAC Western States rules & points, usually The midgets under USAC National / Western States rules & points. I'm sure it is the same this year. Call Tommy Hunt at USAC west and he will give you all of the info. It's a really cool deal, I would go. Good Luck

Turkey Night belongs on dirt! I wish that the Agajanian's and the Kazarian's over at the PAS could put their family fued aside for good racing!

1996 Turkey Night was at the PAS, and still is the best midget race I have ever seen.

The week before Turkey Night there will be a $5000 to win dirt race at Ventura Raceway. Hopefully some of the National guys will bring out their dirt cars. Tell your friends! :6:

The Agajanian's and Kazarian's get along fine these days. Past family issues from decades ago have nothing to do with Turkey Night not being at at The PAS.

That's a midget race correct? The $5000 to win Ventura race.

I believe young Mr. Clarke is working on Keith to bring a car. Looking forward to coming up to Ventura if it happens.

Were you in the stands? Including you, that means that we've located 16 of the fans who were there. We just need to track down the other 11 fans and everyone will be accounted for. :2:

They built it and no one came. Irregardless of how good of a show it was, I think they got spanked pretty good on that one so I kind of doubt you'll ever see Turkey Night at the PAS again.

I was there, although i was only 8. the only thing i remember is carole hart being pissed off after flock got disqualified.

i see no reason why the national guys wouldn't bring there cars out west to run the week before turkey night when there is a sprint car race the week before and a midget race the week after. i can only hope that guys like brad kuhn, brad loyet, bryan clauson, and many of the other traveling midget racers make it. the midget racing has been incredible at ventura this year. lets make this a memorable event.

Yes, I was with my then GF, who was bored out of her mind and regretted skipping turkey with her family to go "to this race that goes on forever."

Didn't know that J.W. Mitchell was the sponsor for this race. Great news. Also, will Henry Clarke be running in a Kruseman sprint car or the one he races back East at the at the PAS and Thunderbowl?

Henry will be in a Kunz car for the West Coast races. They will be testing at Phoenix and Irwindale as well, or so I've been told. :)
