Cole Whitt @ Toledo Speedway

These ones have just enough color to make me like them. |
Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
I saw the Tear-Off Heaven photos of Shane Golobic's car at the Vermeil Classic last week and remembered how awesome his car looked both at Chili Bowl, and at the Vermeil, but it's not for me to post a pic without permission.

The white walker car with the orange frame
|
Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
the only vinyl is the lettering, the rest is all paint.
|
Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
I can't pick just one, but I like both of the Walker cars (White and Blue), the Peterbilt No. 7 (Red), while the (I believe #85) of I think, Tom Bell isn't bad looking either. Also, Travis Welpott's No. 18 is a good looking ride as well.

Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
Some that come to mind:
-The blue Ethanol sponsored midget that Dave Darland was in at Macon, a couple of weeks ago. -The Corey Tucker/BCI # 7 sprinter driven by Bryan Clauson. -The #17 RW midget driven by Brad Kuhn. -The Eric Barnhill/ now Robbie Rice owned #21X retro sprinter driven by Casey Shuman. -The VKCC #13 sprinter driven by Jesse Hockett. -The green Mecum #33 midget driven by Davey Ray. That's in no particular order. Those are all beautiful cars, IMO. Jerry |

Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
Make that three votes for the Fox Brothers #53 Sprinter Stanbrough Special. Its the one with the checkered flag flying in front of it quite often. The saga continues. Don't forget Bloomington/Haubstadt this Fri/Sat. Steve & Christie

Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
Looks like they took a page from JJ Yeley's "how to build a crazy looking car" book. Anyone remember what his car started looking like before he joined up with TSR? Tons of sail panels and aerodynamic features.
|
Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
From what I heard, it was a prototype they were doing R&D on for Maxim.
|
Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
The picture of the Welpott car got me thinking (dangerous, I know). I also like the look of the Niflis car this year, too. I just didn't see it race that often.

Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
When did JJ start building dwarf cars(Front Bumper) for Maxim?
Definately unique..... Hey...if it gets the job done Dave will make it the the one everyone wants to take pictures of at the end of the night. |

Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
It's intriguing to see what people think is good looking. I personally think most of the cars posted so far are ugly, although I do like the Whitt car and the blue (Klatt?) cars but without so many contingency stickers. Tons of Scallops, bright contrasting colors and flames look chincy when not done perfect.
But to each their own... my personal all time favorites (not 2009 specific): Simple and Racey. |

Re: Best Looking Car - 2009
OK, This isnt a 2009 pic. However, every time I see a thread on best looking car, I MUST revert to this one. All the years I have been going to the races, I havent seen one better than this one. I couldn't get it to post straight out. If any one can, that would be cool. Otherwise, here is the link:
