Dave, Cant' wait!! We are loading up the RV and heading down for the weekend. Hope the weather holds, the beer cold, and the racing is as great as always at the Burg. See ya there.

Great Show last year. It will be tough to beat. About 5 of us heading that way!

40% chance of rain for next saturday. Its early in the week. Hope the forecast changes.

You should be fine at 3, you can bring a grill, and a cooler, no alcohol allowed to be carried in.
Thanks,Dave

Dave or anyone who knows will there be any non wing guys putting the lids on. I was there for the Outlaw show and I dont believe there were any non wing guys racing but maybe one or two. Dont really want to make the 5 hour tow for a low car count.

I think you'll see a solid car count. KC's points are over so you will probably draw some regulars from there like Danny Smith. Only thing that may hurt is it is the Points Finale at Fremont.

Still with 10K to win on Saturday and a non-outlaws race I'd imagine you'll see 30-35 cars.

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

Yeah I hope so. I was just wondering if some non wing guys would be there. Fremont running saturday really sucks, cuz i think they could have 50 cars at the Burg

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

This race is on both the all stars schedule and the midwest allstar schedule. There was a midwest allstar race earlier this year with the Allstars running out east and I think they had close to 25 cars, put on a good show too. Just a guess as to Lburg regulars putting on the wing, Moffat, Stevens, Stausser has been running without the wing at Lburg but i think he usually runs with the wing elsewhere, and Bill Rose has been there in both wing and non-wing. Hopefully Clayton and Hockett make the trip cause I sure would like to see these guys at the Burg this year.

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

Daron Clayton will be there for sure as he is 5 points out of the rookie of the year standing and after tonight he could be leading it. Cars that most likely will be there are.

Dale Blaney
Greg Wilson
Tim Shaffer
Daron Clayton
Ryan Bunton
Brandon Wimmer
David Gravel
Jerrod Hull
Danny Smith
Miranda Throckmorton
AJ Bruns
Alex Shanks
Bill Rose
Paul May
Todd Kane
Shane Wade
Tom Busch

Anyone u can add go ahead

Randy Hannagan has it on his schedule. And Sam Hafertee Jr.

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

Yeah I forgot about those two. I would think Kody Kinser would be there possibly even though on his site it has him going somewhere else. What about Robert Ballou

I am pumped about this race again! this was one of the best races at the burg last year. Ill be there friday a little late around 6 or so. I have to do this thing called work!

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

Brad and I were planning on bolting the "lid" on but he got crashed on the opening lap of the B-main last week. Both rear torsion tubes need to be replaced on the frame. It isn't going to happen before Friday. If anybody has a decent car w/o a motor, we have the motor. Let's get together!! :3: Craig Stevens

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

Skyline and KC are both off, so I would guess you would see some of those cars. Some drivers
that I would guess would race at Lawrenceburg are Cale Conley, Cole Duncan, Jimmy Stinson and Jim Neir.

Cale Conley will be at Lawrenceburg

Good deal. Cale was pretty fast there last year in the c-main until he got upside down in turn one

I believe Daron took the rookie points lead from Ryan Bunton after Attica with a 5th place run and stretched it out even more last night with a 4th at Hilltop. Good job DC and good luck at the Burg!

You should bring your work to the track and hand out some samples.

I don't think you guys need to worry about the car count with it being a 2 race show and the money there paying.

racerman454 9/7/09 6:52 PM

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

Thought that for the Outlaw show too and they only had 29 cars on saturday night

How many cars do you need? Serious question. Is it the quality or quanity? or both? I am hoping for around 35-40 range.
Thanks, Dave

Joss Moffatt just might race if a ride becomes available. He made the show last year!! I'll try to do some research and find out who else may race.
Thanks, Dave

There will be enough some people just don't get that Dave. You have a great track down there and I'm sure it will be a good show weather there are 30 cars or a 100 cars. See you Friday and thanks for all the big payouts and good shows this year.

Your 1st answer is wrong, #2 its not a trick question, when was the first HFC?

fishnman 9/7/09 9:40 PM

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

I know. But I won't say. The 1st HFC was actually held in Avilla, the rest have been at the burg, that should help get an answer.

Re: Hoosier Fall Classic, This Friday and Saturday

As for the car count, I did a little research and I would agree with Dave Rudisell's count. I came up with about 44 possible entries. This does not include anyone from Northern Ohio. With Fremont hosting the last FAST event and final Fremont Points night, alot of the Northern Ohio teams will stay home. The Southern Ohio teams are off at KC and Skyline. I really did not add any Non-Winged cars to the mix.

Wouldn't the first winner be Lee Osborne 1983
winner for 20 years ago this weekend would be Robbie Stanley
Kelly kinser with 4 wins
an Dale Blaney was last years winner

Gotta love those t-shirts lol

question for dave. the hfc was always the weekend after the world at eldora. two weeks after labor day. why make it only one week now? if someone likes sprints and lates, you have to give up one of the races. next year maybe go back to 2 weeks after labor day.
