Putnamville tonight

I've decided against the long drive to Lawrenceburg, so Plan B is either Putnamville or just take the night off. Wonder who will show up to race in the sprint car division at LPS?

Its been pretty much the same group both times I have been there. Look at the results on their website and you will have a pretty good idea.

Thanks for the info. I think I've just about talked myself into taking a sabbatical this evening. I've been doing a large amount of :31: lately, and can use a break. Hate to miss an evening of live sprint car racing, but I need a little rest.

Just wanted to stop in and say congrats to Eric for his win tonight. Good field and I think he was pretty happy to win a Lincoln Park Speedway show!! As always, Brad did an amazing job discussing the history of the track and I love the "rundown" of the past track champions/winners that he has been doing. So many new fans don't realize how many incredible drivers have raced and won at LPS, especially in the 80's and 90's. I love that Brian Hayden has won three races in a row because, not just is he a local name, but the fans are learning about his great past too. Like Paul Bumgardner, he's a competitor who has ran different classes of cars and had success in each. I'm proud to be there each week to see everyone compete. Plus many kudos to Jon Stanbrough and Shane Hollingsworth for their participation tonight, I know it was a long trip from Springfield, but I know the fans loved it!! I know Lawrenceburg was likely a first choice, but thanks so much for being at LPS. It's been at least a couple years since Jon was racing at Lincoln Park, but he's got a great history there and I know he made a lot of fans excited watching that feature run after winning the "B". Simply awesome! Hope it won't be the last time your here this season.

From a fan and a photographer!

Carey Fox

Sounds like a good show with a lot of good cars. I would have liked to have seen Jon come from the "B" to 6th but maybe next time couldn't pass up 10g's at the Burg. Congrats Eric on your win

It was interesting. Jon started 18th to 6th. Billy Puterbaugh started 15th ran 4th and Ricky Williams started 20th and ran 9th. It was a good show.

Carey... there is no doubt that Brad is one of the best announcers.... He does a great job!

BTW... I need some photos from you... the old sprint car guy still has some driving ability... 3 in a row... :6:

Bill,
I was hoping to see this when I got home from the Burg last night!! :2: Congrats!! Better watch out though you keep this up people will be thinking you are running traction control....:5::5::5::5: Awesome Job! :22:

Crystal, that motor we have, it doesn't have traction control, it's just a turd. :2::2:

I just don't get it, how are we winning races.... a motor that is turd, a driver with brain damage, and a mechanic with cancer. That sure doesn't sound like a good race team to me. :2: ;) It must be Rusty's help that's doing it.

Bill i would not go that far. For someone like me to learn as much as i have in the last 6 months to help make that car that fast.I've had the best two teacherS money can buy to teach me. And by The way brain damage and cancer if we can deal with that sh** we can do anything together. Don't stop teaching i'm not done learning:6:

He is and he does. I gotta take back a comment I made a couple of weeks ago about the PA at LPS. I said something like "still the same lousy PA". I changed where I sat the last two weeks and the PA is much better. I think I was sitting in a gap between speakers. Brad is great at giving all the available info before the cars get out on the track and start hot lapping. BIG improvements at LPS. The show moves along quickly. It would be great if they could extend the season a bit later into the Fall :16 Good show Saturday night. Congrats to the #14 bunch!!!
