Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Any idea how many Indiana cars will be making the Sprint Bandit tour next week?
|
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Next week? It starts tomorrow night at Rapid Speedway in Iowa. I went there last night for a look at their weekly non wing 360 racing. Pretty cool track, racing wasnt to bad either.
Jack Yeley was there last night having a look, and also chatted with Brady Bacons grandfather for a few minutes too. |
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Coleman Gulick and Team CGR are in route to Rock Rapids tonight. Coleman plans to run the entire TNT Speedweek. We are big fans of Emmett Hahn and what he does for open wheel racing. We hope to represent the Tour well.

Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
We were at Creek Co. last night. They are expecting a really good car count in all 3 classes, sprints, midgets, and 600 micros(non-wing). I could not get any kind of #'s from anyone I talked to who was affiliated with the track. I will say this though, they had 32 sprint cars for there weekly show. Be prepared for the lights to go out sometime throughout the evening. Happened during the mod feature and has happened 3-4 times so far this year according to what I was told. Not really a big deal, 15-20 min delay. Track was really racey for most of the night slicked off somewhat for features. What can you expect with that many classes, 5 and that many cars, over 120. If they prep the track like they did last night and only 3 classes it ought to be good. If anyone is going, get trere early as best I can figure seats around 1200 front stretch only. :6:,

We need help getting Justin Grant to the track this afternoon. (Rock Rapids) Justin was racing in California last night, his flight was canceled this morning, and he got on a later flight. Problem is, he now gets in at 4pm and Jeff Walker will not be able to pick him up as planned. If anyone is driving by the airport on their way to the track? There is a pit pass and gas money to anyone willing to pick him up so he can race tonight. Thank you for your help. Tim Grant tim30@wildblue.net |
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Justin has some extra time, as tonight's TNT opener at Rock Rapids has been rained out. Action resumes Monday night at Nebraska Raceway Park's I-80 Speedway.

Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
What airport is he at?? I'm in Sioux Falls right now,so if its near there give me a call. I'm planning on going to Husets Speedway just outside of Sioux Falls tonight, and then all of the TNT tour.

Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Racin Boys . com is doing live audio at all the tnt races.

Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
High Vista Video will be on hand to capture the action at Creek County and both nights at Lakeside.
Wanted to cover the whole week, but this is the best I could do. JC |
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
You will probably pick up four or five oklahoma cars to go on top of the already cars that have committed. Rather they are 360's or 410's I have no idea.
Jerry we would love to have you come down to these parts. Wed night will be a big time event atmosphere. I have to coach football in the afternoon but once practice is over. Taking a shower and heading that way. The school is not even five mins from the track. |
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Sounds like a hell of a run by Brady Bacon, coming from 14th place to grab the lead.!!

Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
When we get down to Oklahoma, we should have basically this entire bunch that we had up here tonight, minus the locals, which were probably the names you didn't really know.
We should be picking up Darren Hagen, and Casey Shuman is trying to make it. Not sure of any other guys coming, but we'll also have quite a few locals there... |
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Why the low car count?
|
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Last nights feature was very racy. If you come out for the Ok. races, you better plan on Lakeside for the ride home.
|
Re: Sprint Bandit TNT Tour
Well one of the local racers is zach Chappell and he will be at Okc and Creek. Anyone know anything about Kruseman?

Congrats to Brady for winning it, but I am really impressed with Leon for sticking his ride in the show.
Wish he hadn't scratched. Would have been cool to see if the father had anything for the son. |
