Watching it rain might be better than this poor excuse of a race. At least half the field have lost tires. One car appeared to have four flats at once.

I just clicked on now and the live feed came right up no problem. Push trucks on the track running it in.

Red flag w 17 down. Daum into turn 1 fence, Loyet had no where to go and flipped. Both OK.

Clauson had just passed Clarke for the lead, but I assume that will not stick. Kuhn is 3rd.

Lap 23: Clarke dropped out of the lead. Blew the engine.
Lap 26: Robinson stopped in the groove & C.Armstrong spun to miss him. Yellow.
Restart: Clauson, Kuhn, Sweet, Hagen, Wise, Whitt, Boat, Coons, Darland, East.
The red is out. Lots of junk in the groove in turn four taking time to clean up.

Yellow 30 Down. The scoreboard is wrong. Clauson is still leading, over Sweet & Kuhn. Sweet got by Kuhn on lap 29. Yellow was for Golobic. I think he blew.

Congratulations Bryan Clauson and congratulations Bryan Clauson. Wow, two at Belleville in one day. Great drive by Brad Sweet to finish second in the finale and by Chad Boat in the Friday (Saturday afternoon?) feature.

I thought it was very gracious of Bryan to say in victory lane that he came with Keith Kunz and Jay Drake in 2006 and Jay taught him everything he knew about Belleville. Bryan is certainly a class act, as those of us lucky enough to see him race in Indiana know.

Say what you want about Midget Racing and all of that, but that was a great race. The precision it takes to do what they were doing at a place like that is measured in a blink of an eye and a twitch in the muscles. It isn't for everyone and only the best win or finish in the top 10 for that matter.

All of racing may be screwed up, but the races themselves are still happening and there are still some great ones to be seen.

Congrats to BC and crew and thanks to all of the fans and teams that supported the swing during this past week.

First, the 2009 Indiana Midget Week Championship. Now, you're the 2009 Belleville Midget Nationals Champion. You guys go to Terre Haute and take home the Hut Hundred trophy and there'll be little doubt who the Driver of the Year is.
