Twin cities

How good a turn out for sprints can we expect? Taking the kids regardless but just curious if they will have a lot of cars.

It could be real good. Puttnamville not running. USAC requires 16yrs old at Tri State. Some guys are no longer in the running for a sprint week podium. Burg not running sprints VCS about 4hrs away.

Go, have fun.

jamie good run in the heat..thought you might have had something for them in the feature....anyone know if something broke on moffats car ?....looked like he never hit the brakes or cracked the throttle when he drove jl brewer into the wall

Thanks, Yeah we just didnt have the car tight enough in the beginning. Took a couple laps for the NEW RR to fire, then it was too late! Maybe next time!;)

I wouldn't mind hearing the answer to that myself.

Joss got hooked on your nerf bar on the back stretch and you were pulling him into the turn.

Does anyone have the final sprint feature results? Also nice run Jamie and Tim.

Yea good run Jason, I lost my mind a little there early when everyone that stopped got there spot back, took me longer than it should have to calm down, but I with the luck we have had finishing was a victory in itself.... I think Joss's oil pan hit the wall and it split like a coke can

Well, I have only been racing for about 23 years so I am kinda new at this. However, I am pretty sure there was no way I would have "pulled" any one into the turn 3 wall on the first lap of a heat race that was meaningless. This is especially true since I to hit the wall. One would think if I were the one pulling I would have pulled us to the infield. Of course the fact that I was on the brakes and continuing to gain speed tells me (and most logical people) that I was probably not "pulling" anyone in to the turn. Now I have no idea what you were told or saw. I can only speak for what I did and what my knowledge and experience behind the wheel of a race car tells me.

Like I said I am a newbie so I am still trying to figure out why a little more patience was not exercised in this heat. With only 16 cars in the entire field it appears to me that kind of racing would have been better practiced in the Feature. However, due to some poor decision making that opportunity ended in turn 3 of a heat race that only determined starting spots for the feature.

As for the oil pan on the 5 car splitting like a coke can I only wish my car would have been so lucky. However, I have learned in my limited experience that $hit happens and I will eventually continue to race.

Congratulations to Mr. Soudrette for his win. He did a great job of driving and exercised great patience on a slick surface.

Thanks,
J.L. Brewer

JL, I was wondering if the answer you got, was convincing, but then, you do have one helluva tractor pulling engine under the hood. Funny, how that just doesn't quite make sense, but then there are those among us, that will buy most anything, but not you or I. Bob

from where i was setting in turn 1 what i saw was a gap between you and moffat and he just flat run over you and drove you into the wall my exact words at the the was "what the hell was that all about? i thought maybe he lost his brakes or his throttle stuck that is why i asked the question to begin with...

Re: Twin cities

J.L.Brewer this is kinda hard too explain but , I just wanted to say that I apalogize too you for what happened! It was my fault for hitting the back of your car about half way down the back straight. We hooked bumpers and your car pulled us to the corner. Where I messed up is I knew that we were not gonna get unhooked in time so I gassed it to try to get us unhooked which got us both even more into the wrong direction. At this point I was all over the brakes again to try to keep us from crashing. I wanted to apalogize to you in person and I don't like doing this over the internet but I feel as though it would make you and I both feel better. I would not in any way try too crash the both of us. I just don't drive that way!
