I hope to be there. I can now start going back to TQ races since I can see them without a certain family using vulgar language to the officials.

Take I74 east toward Cincinatti.Take Exit 116. Go straight at the light, go past wall-mart, and accross the pink bridge. At the T, turn left.(old Rushville road) Take the first road left AFTER the stop sign. Drive about 2 blocks and you are there.

See you at the track,

EAST ON 44 ONE BLOCK, STAY IN LEFT LANE ONE BLOCK, TURN LEFT ON NOBLE ST, GO PAST VILLAGE PANTRY, STREET ANGLES OFF TO RIGHT, TAKES YOU TO THE FAIR GROUNDS. This would be if you are going either North, or South, on 9. Bob

Racing is still on. No rain in Shelbyville at last report. Only 30% chance of rain after 6 p.m. Join us for a great night of racing surrounded by the lights of the Shelby Co. Fair.

Lots of credit to the track prep ! Can't say I've ever seen a cushion at shelbyville, very impressed !

Re: MTQRL in action Wednesday evening.....

A couple of key notes from last night:

-Tate: That thing looks like a sprint car running around the 'ville. Running the cushion to take the win was fantastic to watch. Job well done. Not to mention a new BLISTERING track record. Wait, a cushion at Shelbyville?

-Track prep: Not sure who did it or who was all involved, but damn fine job - well done and bravo! Yes a cushion could be found around Shelbyville last night. Passing high, passing low, 3 WIDE DOWN THE BACK STRETCH with every one making it through turns 3 & 4

-Brett Hankins: You'll get that monster running soon. You proved earlier in the night that it can run fast times. Keep on trucking with that platform and we'll see you in the winner's circle.

-Scooter Bruce: 9th place I think? Damn man not bad. Kept it out of trouble all night. Let the leaders pass clean when they came around. To finish first, we must first finish. Great job.

-Sandy Lowe: Thank you again. It was great seeing you again. Wish we could have had more time to chat. Im sure the scoring went much more smoothly as did the entire night went well.

-The fair board: Thanks for having us and letting all of us put on a good show. The elephant ears were wonderful. Tisk on you though for not letting us use the arm bands from our last rain out.

-Jerry Frickman: Thanks for the "loan". I owe ya one. Good to see you back with the sport you love and care about. Wonderful to chat with you again. Maybe soon we'll have to do some pizza king after a race.

-AJ Nigh: That thing's a beast. Hoss. Hulk. Nasty. Can't wait to see you get some gears in it or go back to some place big and let it wind up. Hats off to the fabrication done by Scott. Hats off to you for having a beautiful setup. Love that sound too.

-The Lux brothers. Great to see BOTH of you running at the same time again. Good show put on by both of you.

-Tim Lynch. Glad you've seen the light brother. Amen.

-Robert Nichols: Glad to see you again. Needs more Martindale tuned injection on that car.....

-Tad Cheek: We made it man. 5th place. Not bad. See, I told you it would run.

-Gary Lee: Thank you. In a big way. For all you do. Still can't believe where we are all going to eat at the end of the year. Better than Burger King eh?

-The flagman from Lawrenceburg: Big thanks for helping us out last night. Thought things went pretty smooth for the most part.

-Jim berry: Damn that old car is still fast, even with out the bolt on cage. :9:

-Charlie: What did I tell you about those gift certificates to the mud bath? NO SHARING!

-The entire MTQRL: Drivers, owners, fans, officials - thank you for putting on an awesome show last night! Great to see a full field of cars last night take the feature.

Thanks to Jay Parks for giving me a car to race and helping with the track prep. I didnt know a fairgrounds track could be that sweet. Alot better then the one laner we ran last weekend. Too bad the rushville fairgrounds track people wont let you teach them how to make a real RACE track. Last night was a awesome track to drive on. :31:

Re: MTQRL in action Wednesday evening.....

Nick, thanks for racing with us. It was good to see you in a TQ again.

For our races at Rush Co., our guys are doing the track prep. So hopefully it will be better. It does need some clay which probably won't be feasible this year. Rushville has a lot of potential and it's a great place to watch racing.

Andrew, thanks for coming out. Hopefully you enjoyed the show. You're officially ruled out as the rain jinx. LOL

Jon, thanks for props. VUMTQRL has a very passionate group of people working hard to have fun. I may be biased but I think they are the best. When are we going to see you on the track? :)

If some one has a car open for me to drive, soon.

If not, the house & bills come first. Racing comes second. The car I have needs many things, all of which cost money. :-(

I understand that. There's a few TQs available for rent. I'm not sure who has them or how much, though.

If you have any more midweek shows, make sure to have someone post them on here. Midweek shows are doable for me,although I dont get much sleep before work the next day.

The fair was plenty packed last night from my first time eyes. To bad some more of the crowd hadnt come in for the thrilling to real adventures last night.

Let's not forget to thank Tim Montgomery, the Lawrenceburg flagman. Our flagman, Steve Motz, had a family emergency and could not make it to Shelbyville. Tim filled in on SHORT notice for us. Thank You! :8: :9: :22:

Thanks to EVERYONE! It was FUN!!!

Wishing the best for Steve's daughter for a quick recovery.

Hope to see all at Osgood,

Just talked to Tim, saw him at the local JayC grocery, he said he had fun last night, and he even commented on the track prep being great for passing, and side by side racing, he enjoyed it. Bob

Cool. Thanks for being there. Gary Lee is one of a kind, isn't he? A.J. is a pretty special driver too. He was the first driver we sponsored as Jenmarco. It won't be long until Austin is driving circles around him in a TQ. ;)

Shawn 7/2/09 6:16 PM

Re: MTQRL in action Wednesday evening.....

Are you sure that Austin couldn't run circles around A.J. now? Haha...just kidding, Nigh! Keep up the great work, MTQRL!
