May he and Farrah rest in peace!

Heard on the radio today he was taken to the hospital,
I told my girlfriend, you know celebrities always die in groups of 3,
and we have already lost Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett,
how about we offer up Michael in "loo" of a different celeb.

Then heard he was gone.
I really don't think it was my suggestion that sent him packin' though.

As a father myself, we dont know WHAT he did or IF he did anything. But you respect him as a musical genius as a person. Basically if you have to lower yourself to post disrespectful, tasteless remarks, just dont post a friggin thing.

This man was a father as well....

I figure that common sense would take over on this thread and people would pass on condolences as normal.

Mr. Nunn, I used common sense in my post, and I will stand STRONGLY behind it.

Also passing away today was Sky Saxon, leader singer of the 1960's band, The Seeds.

AUSTIN, Texas — Sky Saxon, lead singer and founder of the 1960s band the "Seeds" has died after a brief illness, his publicist said.

Born Richard Marsh, Saxon had recently moved to Austin. He played with his new band, Shapes Have Fangs, on Saturday and went to the hospital on Monday. Publicist Jen Marchand said he died Thursday but did not know a cause of death and could not immediately provide more information.

The Seeds were best known for their singles "Pushin' Too Hard" and "Can't Seem to Make You Mine." Saxon had been planning to perform this summer with the California '66 Revue, a tour featuring a lineup of California bands from the 1960s.

Very , very sad , that someone would make the conscience decision to type such hate and proudly own those words , as their own , with their signature. :7:

As a father, would you have let your kids spend the night a the "Neverland Ranch" ?????
Didn't think so.

Talent does not equate respect in my book.
Just my opinion, and you are certainly entitled to yours as well.

I ask this in a nice way--But does his kids look like him? I'm talking about the old Mike--11 year old black man.

Re: Ot michael jackson

How will history look back on someone like Michael Jackson? On one hand, you have someone who went from a child prodigy to become one of popular music's true giants. Even though the term musical genius is overused, it would be an understatement, in Jackson's case. At the height of his career, there was no bigger star and his death is on the same scale as John Lennon's. He gave millions to charity and was a son, a brother and a father.

Then, on the other hand, you have someone who morphed into a true freak, that was accused multiple times of doing terrible things to the most vulnerable among us. Children. And even worse for these victims, were the money-grubbing parents that fate had put them with. The ones who enabled Jackson. I mean who in their right mind would drop their little boy off at Neverland to spend the night? Especially after he had already paid the one kid's family $22 million to not pursue charges, in 1994. His life story exposed the dark side of life, on many fronts.

It's yet another example that money doesn't make your problems go away, nor can it buy you happiness. As rich and famous as Michael Jackson was, he lived a short, twisted and mostly unhappy life.

Jerry

Not sorry to offend you pgray, but I will proudly defend the innocence of a child over even a maybe pedophile any day let alone twice (that we know of) accused in which he paid off. I will give you that he was not proven guilty however he was not proven innocent either due to the payoff twice. Just thinking that given the publicity surrounding it he would like to prove his innocence if in fact he was. This subject runs very deep with me. As far as my signature or signing of my post would you rather me hide behind a screen name, *** seriously?

RIP Farrah Fawcet
