No updates from Bloomington or Gas City???
 

How is it that every time I go to the track everyone is doing updates but when I cant make it due to work, it seems like very little or no updates are being done. :13: Is it raining every where or ??????

Good job to Short and Puterbaugh. Short is on a roll, hope he can keep it up. thanks for the updates. One reason I hate working out of state. Stupid Lousiana and its crappy racing.

Short was the class of the field. He should be tough for the Sheldon Kinser Memorial next week. Way to go Brady.

Dave started 14th & finished 10th. Was 4th in the 2nd heat.

Just got a call from the car owner that Hunter was 3rd at Gas City from 13th. The other top two listed were correct with Puterbaugh winning and Gurley second. Green to checkered.

Also heard that Shuman was 4th or 5th at Bloomington in the Roberts 21x.

Just got in from Gas City. A good night of racing and as we were leaving thunder and lightning all around. We are experiencing thunder and heavy lightning here in the Redbud City and we are under a severe thunderstorm warning. The NWS said to expect over an inch of rain and up to 70 MPH winds. It sounds like we are ready to rock and roll. Glad they got the show in this evening.

Good for Jesse!!! He has had a rotten string of bad luck so it's great to see him have a good run. My brother hangs with them sometimes.

He won his heat race. The modifieds were up next on the program but with the lightning there is no way I am going to sit outside on steel supported bleachers and get fried.:14: I don't know but with the weather moving in I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get it in. It was touch and go if they were going to get the sprint feature in.

Shu was in the Roberts 21x with Daryl Tate spinin the wrenches. Cramer 4th :6:, then Boat, Shuman and Siscoe if memory serves me correctly.

First, a big thank you to Tom and Stephanie Hastings and everyone at The Hastings Law Firm for matching all payouts tonight. Another thank you to the drivers and crews in helping to keep the program moving. The Thunder Car feature was cut short a few laps and we only have the Street Stock feature to make up next week. For those wondering, Matt Westfall finished 8th in the modified feature and with Limaland rained out, had a good mix of Limaland and Gas City modified drivers in the feature.

For complete race results, go to http://www.gascityi69speedway.com. Next week, because Bloomington will have the Sheldon Kinser Memorial Race, we will not run sprints but will have the USAC Ford Focus Midgets and 600 cc wing mini-sprints. Sprints will return July 3.

It was definitely Danny Roberts car. The 21X DRC like Dickie used to drive.

Jesse was tough in the heat and the feature. He had to pass Chad Boat to get that spot and Chad was fast, all night. There was a lot of good racing back through the field, like Niflis, Gaines and Sciscoe. But the winner was never in doubt. Short administered a beatdown on the whole field. He's really at the top of his game, right now.

Impressive was the word to describe B. Puterbaugh's race tonight. No less impressive was Mr. Cottle coming from 17th to finish fourth.

Jiggs and crew did a fine job to get in as much racing as they could. No yellow flags in the sprint feature and only one in the modified feature.

The infamous SwordMan and his dad came early and stayed late. The not so dimunitive terror has a new uncle, namely the mowerman himself, along with Aunt Monica. He and Bob make a good comedy team.

Brady is going to run Lawrencburg tonight, and Kokomo Sunday. I doubt you will see him for a while due to his ASCS commitments. Wingless he is also going to do the TNT tour.
