Street Truck Race At Lawrenceburg Speedway

Come down to the Lawrenceburg Speedway and don’t forget to bring your truck. How many times have you thought how fun in would be to race your truck around the Lawrenceburg high banks. This might be your one and only chance. Register your truck and make some practice laps. After that the real fun gets started. You will be racing head to head for 1 lap, the winner goes to the next round and the loser goes home. This will continue until there is a winner.

I challenge Fishburger and Fishnman to a 3 truck grudge race!! If Marv wins, free Larosa's pizza and a cooler full of Bud's, If Fishnman wins, i'll buy him some more spray on rust for the Dodge, and if i win, Marv has to clean the grandstands while i hang out at Bob Evans.........The challenge is on!!!!! Take it or leave it!!

Is a TrailBlazer SS a truck?

Don't ruin an SS TB, those are too nice. Actually, they might spin too much to go unless you put some mud tires on it.

I know, I have one. In fact, it is what I drive when I come up in May. I packed the track with it in Cowtown earlier this year for a driving school, since there weren't but a couple of trucks to get the job done. I feel sorry for the folks that followed me down I45 on the way home that evening. . . .

Oh, and the traction control actually works rather nicely on a dirt track.

:5: Master of the understatement. I've got a 1990 4 cylinder Ranger that would be fun to try there, but I'm afraid the old Thunder Bolt Greaseslapper is having severe oil pressure problems, so I'll have to pass.:(

Dave, you might consider a foot race as well. Not sure if very many could make it all the way around the track, though.

Or.....a sack race with Marv and one of the 50/50 ladies in one sack (uh, that's one leg each in the sack!:2:) with you and Chuck in the other.

Or....a bicycle race, one with kids and one without. (Not to mention a tricycle race. I'm thinkin' that Aero would look good on a trike.)

Or...a cage match with John Hoover vs. The Sword Man.:18:

:7: No deal!! I'll "leave it", but thank you very much. Right now people here at IOW only suspect that I'm a dumbass. I'm not about to give them conclusive proof.

Scott, has that heap of your Dad's (TheLip1?) been reduced to a pile of rust yet? I'd give it a go in that, but no way do I risk my trusty Silverado on a closed course with the pair of Daves. :19:

Now you're talkin'......but Cherie would never go for it. She told me Saturday that if I were single, and younger, and taller, and thinner, and smarter, and richer........that she still would prefer not to be in the same zip code with me. :( I've yet to have even the right color of 50-50 ticket, much less be within 10,000 of the winning number. :11;
