Anyone with a radio on couldn't help but smile when Tommy Helfrich came on the radio and said, "There's a John Deere sitting back here in the pits. I don't think I need anyone to show me how to start it." He climbed in and headed to the track to help scuff the surface... then round 2 of even heavier rains came and it was obvious there was no saving the track for racing tonight. Thanks for the effort Tommy.

Re: T.h.a.t. Rescheduled
Joe, what time will you get to the track tomorrow? I want to see your push set up? If I don't catch you tomorrow, then probably the 4th of July race. Also, I don't know how good my Jeep would be to help, but when ever I am at the race and you could use me or my SUV to help the track, just say the word.

Anyone know about this orange 14 from New York that was at Granite City last night? Think his name was Guleck?
...was really impressed with this hard charger. Has he been running in Indiana/Illinois all year? Wonder if he'll be at Terre Haute tomorrow? |
Re: T.h.a.t. Rescheduled
With hot laps @ 2 I hope that they keep things going so racing is finished before having to take break for sunset. Seems realistic considering probably won't be running B's for LM's & SCORA.

Where is the USAC Midgets tonight? |
Re: T.h.a.t. Rescheduled
Any word on what drivers are at the track? Thinking of making the trip to kokomo but the wife wants to see a good show of sprints.
|
Re: T.h.a.t. Rescheduled
You can't go wrong with Kokomo! The midgets put on a good show there and the sprints will be great. It's not quantity it's quality.
