VCS what to expect for a first timer
 
Think Im going to VCS as weather isn't looking good till friday after today.

Any hints will be helpfull. Leaving house in about a hour so anyone who's been there? Best seating. food ect?

chicken strip basket or the BIG TRACK BURGER...we usally sit up high in turn 1 chuck

Thanks Lloyd, Is the Bus going to try to make it? Im riding the bike for what will be the longest trip I've ever taken on it. Not the peddaling kind either.

Chuck, C U there and hope the weather holds for the trip home LOL or I'll be one Soggy bottom

There's three of us coming. We sit in turn one also. Look for the guy with the big orange "N" on his hat and something that says "North Montgomery Chargers".

My dad and I will be making the trip up there and will be sitting in turn one. Look for the guy wearing the Pike County Nationals t-shirt and carrying a clipboard and dry erase board.

i will have my indiana open wheel shirt on....black wesmar hat...and big old camera taking pics as long as i can ...cant afford the big flash..

I'll be sitting somewhere in the Shortbus Pavillion, also. This should be a big car count, IMO. BTW, when you're in the grandstand, if you look across to the backstretch, off of turn 2, you'll see Bill's Cyclone Custom Products billboard.

Anybody that's ever traveled across that part of Illinois knows that it takes a long damn time to get from Quincy to Danville. Even in a car, going 80 mph. It's the widest part of the state. Hopefully, the weather doesn't get there till we're all long gone.
