Midgets!, big track, great high speed pavement racing and close to the fun at the speedway for sunday. The little 5 is a great race though. Good Luck Brian Tyler in the little 500! :22:

I’ve never attended either race and I am still undecided on what to do Saturday:15:. Is Anderson worth the extra drive? Approximately what time do you think each race will end?:30:

Little 5 gets over at around 1130 midnight. IMO both are great races but the little 500 is something special seeing 33 sprint cars for 500 laps on a 1/4 mile. Anderson is worth the extra jog.

if it doesnt rain........which the weather is looking great you will be out of there by 10 or 11.......it is well worth the drive!!!! i would for sure go to the little 5!

Remember last year there were only like 20 attempting first day qualifing then second day came around and they ended up having about 35-40 cars attempt

They will get the cars......noone wants to take the extra day off work right now when they can just take friday off and still make the show

choice is easy, little 500. well that is if you like to see independent drivers and teams run in a race where they have a chance to win.

I had the same question for my dad a few weeks ago... He said "500 laps of sprint cars going around a track gets old.... go to the night before the 500, the midgets put on a great show." Just thought I would pass on his advice. I don't have to make the choice cause I'm heading to the WoO race down in Charlotte. But enjoy whichever you go to! :2:

The Night Before just doesn't do it for me after seeing the Little 500. I've gone back a couple times just to make sure I wasn't missing anything, but it just doesn't compare to the Little 5. I think it'll be pretty competitive this year, too, especially with the return of Chet Fillip and rookies like Hollingsworth, Helberg, Windom, and Nick Green to go with last year's field.

We'll see a bunch of Midget shows this year, but there is only ONE Little 500.:9:
In fact, it's really the only tar race I care to make annually.

I switched to the Little 5 from Nite B4 in '03. Got tired of the support junk and the goofing around half the night to get to the midget feature.

Little 5 is 2 1/2 hours of the exciting semi-controlled mayhem that sprintcars put on. And it's sprints only and you don't have to put up with Bandeleros, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with it.;)

What do you mean if they get 33?The last show did only have 17 or so cars but it was a regular USAC show.Nobody running the little 5 is going to tear up there stuff a few weeks before the little 5 if that is what they are planning on running.There is already 29 I think entered and they always have people that dont pre-enter.I believe it is something everyone should see at least once.Just the first 3 or so laps is almost worth the admission price just watching them try to fit all 33,3 wide into 1 and 2.Just one persons opinion though.

If you never seen lil 500 you missed alot of racing, Irun it 11 times and wish I was still physical able to do it Ill be there smiling.:6::22::3::10::10::9::9::9:

I've been to a total of more than 20 altogether; more Night Before events than Little 500s. But it has been a few years since I was a "gopher" for a midget team, so there is absolutely no doubt that I would choose the Little 500.

The littel 500 will keep you on your feet , real racers most even take money out of there owen pocket to run! I, ran a car there 2 times pitted next to Dizz Wilson, what a nite..... shur miss real racers ant many left !!!
