Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
I am looking for a TQ ride for a long-time friend and great driver for the Burg this week-end. He is easy on equipment and hard on the throttle.
Can anyone help me out? Charlie Dwenger MTQRL Chief Official |
Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg

Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
does anyone know what size or any info on the jefferson track on may 30. never been there or heard anything about it or has TQ's ever ran there?
|
Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
Madison (Jefferson County) is a Smaller version of Shelbyville. Tight corners and long straights. I haven't seen the track since the early 90's.

Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
Nick,
Get a car together and come to Madison! If things go as planned I might be turning some laps there. ;) |
Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
From my understanding the Track at Madison is larger than it was the last time the TQ's ran there. You might prepare for a track that is similar to Columbus Fairgrounds.

Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
Nick, we used to run there a lot, several times a season, lots of fun, a drivers track, short, tight turns, fairly long straights, you'll learn a lot about driving with the rearend hungout, ya gotta get er sideways at the flag stand, then drive er with th gas peddle thru the turn, your almost going as fast sideways, as you are straight. Now watch, they've probably made it bigger! Bob

Re: role call for mtqrl at the burg
I'm guessing 24-26, depends on the weather, that'll be a plenty, with all the other open wheelers, 3 heats and a feature, oughta go pretty quick. Bob
