Re: MSCS drivers @ Tri-State Speedway this Saturday
Thanks for the info Jason. According to this there is only a 10% of rain for race time http://www.weather.com/outlook/homea...N0278?dayNum=2, just a few am showers. It's going to be tacky and super fast so I hope to see a great crowd. :8:

I've been debating on whether to hit this race or not. That list looks pretty good.

Re: MSCS drivers @ Tri-State Speedway this Saturday
I remember one Sunday on the way to DuQuoin. I went by Haubstadt at 9am. Pouring rain, literally 2 feet of water in the infield. DuQuoin rained out, went to Haubstadt , saw a great show. With what Tommy has for equipment it could rain til 6 pm, and he'd still get the show in. Morning showers aren't anything to worry about.

Rain isn't a problem at Haubstadt, Tom uses Thompsons Water Seal on the wood before it's tilled in!!!:8:
Looking forward to meeting Eagle 14 and Dirt Fan. |
Re: MSCS drivers @ Tri-State Speedway this Saturday
Who’s going to pull into victory lane tomorrow? I say a Wissmiller or Cone. Or could it be someone picking up a first win at the track like Cummins? Lets not forget about BC, he has been of fire as of recently. Have I herd that Levi hasn’t won at Tri-State before?

Stopped at the track around 7pm and spoke with Mowerman and Jason Adams. Tommy was on the track, and Mowerman was chasing him in the motorhome. lol
Tommy has the grass parking roped off now to keep off the heavy motorhomes off the wet grounds. Mowerman will have to park in the gravel tonight. Sunshine tomorrow the parking tomorrow afternoon should be OK. Stopped by Cummins race shop & Mark buliding Kyle's engine & Kyle getting the chassic together. Looks like a late night for the Cummins crew. |
Re: MSCS drivers @ Tri-State Speedway this Saturday
According to a schedule I got from the Cottles, Shane is supposed to be there. Maybe Danelle or Shane can come on here and clarify.
I will be there as well.... after I hit up my 30th consecutive Pole Day at Indy! All this driving and walking 5 days removed from gallbladder surgery. We shall see how well I am coming along! |
