Wasn't he relived from Truckers too? Doesn't there seem to be a trend? There seems to be a common denominator

Interesting that this happened at Lincoln Park Speedway, since I believe the same think happened to the winner at Lincoln Speedway in Pennsylvania. In the latter case, I read that the owner said that he (the owner) didn't feel part of the team.

:11;Maybe....someday.....Kenny Baldwin can find the talented slave that he is looking for. Professional racecar drivers don't drive racecars for free. Sprintcar racing is no place for tightwads. You get what you pay for and if you don't like it, load your ******* and go home!!!:11;

You are correct! Chad Kemenah also lost his ride two days after winning Manzanita earlier this year, except the owner folded the entire team.

Well... T-Mez is still one of my favorite Midget drivers.

I wouldn't "bash" car owners until you become one.

I have tried for years to find a ride and can't believe the stories owners have told me about drivers, and I mean you wouldn't believe what goes on.

Myself I don't care about the money, I just want to drive and race because I love it, but car owners aren't like they used to be. Drivers either have to have proven themselves with wins in the past or have a pocket full of money to "buy" a ride. The car owner has the most to lose (and usually does). To me its more important that the car is prepared and capable of winning and set up to my driving style. If a car owner won't give you that its not worth it anyway.

As for being a winner, they don't have any problems finding rides.

I dare not go into who or why with dirvers or teams. Only to wish both the best in the future and I apreciate both for what they do. Without either. Theres something less to this sport.

I'm looking for someone to drive for this year, I just can't afford to do it (finance it all) any longer. I have the car, most of the engine together but just don't have the money to buy tires, fuel, safety equipment and don't have any help at the track.

Anybody wants to work out some kind of deal let me know. Have lots of spares too.

Sorry to see these guys split. Thomas is a good guy and Ken seemed like a real nice guy as well after meeting him at DC's party. Best of luck to both of them.

Yes Dirtfan, I want to run the whole SCORA series with my car if I can.

But I would like to run a whole season at tracks like Bloomington, Lawrenceburg, Gas City, Kokomo etc with someone.

Two different stories and about ten years between the two.

Teams come and go. You have to have strong personalities to both be a driver and be a car owner. Often that leads to a conflict here or there. It happens. No big deal. No harm, no foul. Just racing.

What the sport needs is more people like Mr. and Mrs. Grumpy.
