Hey race fans,

Just to let everyone know that we are now streaming live video at www.usacracing.com of tonight's event at Perris Auto Speedway. The good news is, we have been told that we now have more servers at our disposal and more people will be able to access the feed. That's what we were told, anyway. Hopefully, anybody signing on will be able to watch it, provided they have a fast enough Internet connection from home. For as many people that ***** and complain about how poor the video is, they can't get it, USAC shouldn't do it, there sure are a lot watching.

Ididn't get a thing Wednesday night and I'm not getting anything tonight. Maybe I should start complaining and I'll get in.

I believe this is qualifying as I got a text from a friend that was there and he said that hot laps had concluded.

well i had been watching it since 7 and just as quals were about done wouldn't you know it my computer would freeze and I lost it. Time to sit here and refresh until i get back in. :(

yeah i got back in now i can watch the race.

To hook your laptop up tp your tv if you have an S-video out of your laptop you can use that then it is normally like the "fn" (function key ) and F8 or F7 whatever has the monitor with on it. (looks like a sqaure with a line on each side of it) or you can go into your desktop properties and try it in their. will have to mess with your settings and such. however if you have a new TV some of them actually have a VGA input to them so all you need is a VGA cable.

Well I think I am going to need carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists and a new mouse from hitting the refresh button for four straight races. At least the live scoring has been working nearly all of the time.
I think it is unfortunate that everyone's expectations were so high for this race week and so many of us have been disappointed by the lack of video. I'm not into bashing USAC but it seems like they built us all up and some of us have been let down. Maybe there needs to be more technical homework done the next time to confirm enough capacity. :headbang

The video is streaming fine. The server is full. We've heard several times from Kevin Miller that servers have been upgraded but these problems seem to have been consistent this week.

It would be interesting to know what the capacity is for how many people can log on to watch.This is all new for everyone I know and it is a great idea hopefully they can get all of the bugs worked out and one day can handle all that want to watch the races.
