I also remember Rich in the Balesteri #60. Does anybody know if that sprint car started out life as a Champ Dirt car? Thanks buddy. |

No, I don't remember any photos of the red 39. I'm not sure why but I've never been to Sante Fe either. I was gonna go to my storage unit today to get more photo boxes but we are supposed to get 8 inches of snow, so maybe tomorrow. I do remember the 60 car you are talking about but not sure of it's origin. I think I have pics of it, I'll go searching when the weather breaks. David. |

Re: Elder Cadillac #55
Besides being a local car to us, the Jr. Knepper #55 was always one of my all-time favorites. The restoration of this car (and the hauler) is absolutely beautiful.
This car, the Lloyd Stephens OFFIXCO #21 and the George Snider/A.J.Foyt Terre Haute First Natl. Bank #11 are my top 3 best lookers ever..... |
Re: Elder Cadillac #55
What was the car number when it was new? First race where? Driver?

Yer wrong there, Chucko. That car is a Delrose and Holt Champ Car.
The car I was talking about was pearl white and red, that AJ drove to the twin 50 wins at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in '74. |

Not sure when Sarah attended. I was a couple years ahead of Ed. Saw them both at last Saturday's game. Asked Ed what it felt like to be out-run by Milka at the Homestead test.
