Not going to Manzy now :(. First race for Kyle will be at North Vernon on the 28th and then he is planning on running there the following week for the $3K to win on April 4th.

For you tin top fans I just checked Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway's webpage. Their season opening March Maddness race is scheduled for March 6th and 7th. $5K to win for LM's on Fri. and $7,500 to win on Sat. Believe they draw some good cars for this one.

Petey,

I have been to this show before and it does draw a lot of good cars. Not much else in the region racing yet so they have the only show in town so to speak. Dress warm because it is usually very chilly at Calvert City in March. Hope to see you there if you are going.

If Earlene and I get back from our Bahama cruise in time, I'll probably be there too.

Does anyone know how much this thing is paying to win? I am still undecided with North Vernon and Little DuQuion. One thing is for sure Indoor race stands a better chance of NOT getting rained out.

For you Non Winged Sprint Car fans, don't worry, TCRP will be hosting six Non Winged Sprint Car events in the 2009 season. The first Non Winged Sprint Car race of the 2009 season ANYWHERE in the state of Indiana will take place on Saturday Night, March 28th, as a tune-up for the following weeks' running of the "No Way Out 40". The "No Way Out 40", to be held on Saturday April 4th, will pay $3,000 to win and $200 to start for Non Winged Sprints. Look for a lot of heavy hitters to be at TCRP that evening to get their equipment dialed in for the upcoming season. Other Non Winged Sprint Car shows will be May 16th, July 4th, July 18th, and August 29th. When the Sprints are on the card, they WILL BE RUN FIRST ALL NIGHT!

Even if it only payed :icon_smile_blackeye to win they will still draw some good cars. After all it is the first race of the season.

Let me drive the boat and you'll get back in plenty of time, Ron.

Happy Cruising
