Who is Henry Clarke? Why would he be chosen as the best to represent USA?

Your welcome Susan, I spoke with Dave and your name came up of course...lol
Cant express how much of a great reputation DD has down in NZ.

Dave had no where to go and couldnt avoid a spun car and hit it hard, no one was hurt. broke front right shock and maybe some other stuff.

Glad you like it Staples

Henry Clarke runs for Kruseman out on the West Coast, may be a focus racer? Had his bell rung well and truly in a big flip after only a handfull of laps in his first heat race!! Some say he was knocked out for a while, His Kruseman Spike car was busted up quite bad.

Thanks for the photos! I talk with him daily but there's nothing like pictures! Maybe the next race will go better for all of the USA drivers, Dave said it was quite the experience! Again, Thanks for the pictures!

Hi James,
I have always said, I am far from a professional or expert.
But I have seen a huge improvement in your photos of the past year or two, again keep up the great work!
From where at the Springs did you capture the shot of DD?
I had a great time there a couple of years ago. Hopefully, I can return in the next couple of years.
Make sure you keep posting your shots for all of us here in the USA.
Enjoy the rest of the NZ racing season season!
Jeff

Re: USA Midget team in New Zealand

Once again thanks Jeff for the kind words,
I was standing on the track against the outside wall!! (not really!)
I captured that shot from turn 4 looking back towards the centre of 3 and 4 with the tip of my lens in a lens size hole in the fence. Those shots ,without the catch fence, of the right hand side of the car are just so rare, although security did move me on!!
I will post more after this Saturdays race.
I am also getting my own web site together.

:thumb Brad was dq for being to loud and after the race, I think he got loud so they gave him his spot back. He was up to 4th but the rr tire went flat with 4 to go and he hung on for a 6th place finish.
