I really like the design. The Video Section is really going to be a cool feature. Maybe we can post some in car camera video.

Re: Mtqrl Website Updated
Marc & Jen the website looks fantastic! Steve Elliott/Elliottbrand Web Designs does great work.
The May schedule has a little bit of the old and a little bit of the new. I'm happy you have kept the tradition of three-quarter midget racing at the county fairgrounds. I can't wait to see what you have scheduled for the rest of the summer. |

RE: MTQRL Website Updated
Another great website by Steve Elliott. He has so many great looking websites for the racing community. This new MTQRL site if just more proof of that! :thumb
Mark & Jennifer are doing what they can to make this series a success and I applaud them for it. :applaud: Plus, the have a cool logo! :D |

Hey, Violin...
This thread is about the MTQRL, so if you want to praise another group, start a new thread. As was said, some people want something different and now they have an option. I don't see anything wrong with that! Lastly, I don't think I caught your name. What was it? |
Re: Mtqrl Website Updated
Shawn.
Is your last name Frazier? Who is nowings4me? Who is quickchange? How about midgetracer? Seems like several folks on this thread are not signing their names. Mine's JIM MORRISON One final thought. Since this is a Midwest TQ site and should only promote that group, I presume the same courtesy will be given when a UMRA thread gets started and no negative comments will be posted by this group. Personally, I believe there is much to be gained by a free and open debate and exchange of ideas. Comments should be constructive. Both of these groups have merit. Hope to make a couple of races at each this year. Jim |
Re: Mtqrl Website Updated
Whether you know my name or not makes no difference. This thread was started by someone saying the website had been updated. Everyone else posted nice, positive things until someone else began negatives. (read other MTQRL post, and this one) Everyone has their own opinion on things, sorry yours isn't the same as mine. I don't bash anyone on any message board. Yes, it takes more than a racing website to make a successful series, but how the Frechette family spends their time and money is no concern to anyone but them. If folks don't agree with what they are doing, just ignore it. They didn't come knocking down anyone's door to force anything on anyone.

I appreciate what they are doing for TQ Midget Racing. They've been involved with the sport for a few years and most importantly, they're race fans. They have an idea and they're going for it. They're investing their time and money into a sport where not a lot of people are willing to do these days. As a race fan, I am thankful for that. :thumb

Well, it seems someone doesn't like what is going on with MTQRL. So be it. Neither Shawn or myself have said anything derrogitory about any other TQ racing organization. Shawn and I obviously have the same ideas about the new league, and haven't bashed any other club, or club organizers, which I can't say about others in this thread. Lots of folks have put time and money into racing, not just the folks Violin are talking about. How or why the Frechette family is doing ANYTHING is only their concern. Violin seems to want to make a big deal out of the fact they are starting a new league, and I can't tell if it is jealosy, or some other motive. Why can't you (Violin) just let things be? You don't see the Frechette's on here bashing other organizations. They seem to have surrounded themselves with people that DO know racing, which is very intelligent. No one knows everything, and they have built a team based on their individual knowledge and talents. Seems like a very good way to start to me.
