I just heard that Gary Lee has joined the New Tq Racing League as the Announcer and Director of Marketing. Anyone else heard this rumor?????

Is this the same Gary Lee Of Thursday Night Thunder?

:thumbI'm wondering if it's the same Gary Lee, that used to run a TQ, seems like he drove Bill Case's car a few times, back in the late 80's, early 90's. That could be a good deal, if it's true. :checkered:Bob

Hi Dale!
It probably is one and the same. He has been involved in QM's in the past. He sponsored my cousin Chris Spangler's QM many many years ago. I have a photo of the car somewhere, I'll try to dig it up soon.

Wow, this would a very cool thing, for sure! I know that they're working very hard to get this thing going. I think you'll see some cool things in the near future.

As for a schedule, I'm sure that they're still working on getting it put together. Being a new series, I hope they have success putting together a new schedule and are able to release it very soon! I think it will be good...:)

Congrats to The MTQRL. I am very excited that they were able to bring in Gary Lee. A guy I grew up watching on ESPN and that I admired as an announcer. To say that Gary Lee is a part of MTQRL speaks volumes about how Mark and Jen want this to work.

I thought I might see you in this thread too, Violin. Did you Cheerios taste a little funny this morning? Like I said in the other thread, start a new one for your series and hype it up as much as you'd like. Okay, now you can go back to playing your violin and having your cheese and wine.

Clever!! My Cheerio's were just great this morning and my wine and cheese will be fine this evening as well. That happens easily when you are supporting something with a long standing history and excellent traditions and was founded on good competition and not revenge and someone that thinks they can buy their way into racing without putting in the blood, sweat and tears.

I really think that Gary will bring a lot of excitement and knowledge to the events for the MTQRL. I've always been a fan of Gary while his time on TV. I used to go to Whiteland Raceway Park to drive his rental karts. He was always nice and would talk to everyone. I can't wait to see what he brings to the series.

I'm not filling this board with mud-slinging and bashing people, or series. As I said before, if you would like to support another series, start a new thread with their strengths and list what they have going on. If you would like to PM me, you can go for that, too.
