Trouble in POWRi land with Mr. Brown

Anyone have any knowledge of this or any other mis dealings with POWRi?

Wouldn't be the first time he's pocketed designated money.

You know how you stop this stuff from happening? You stop racing with POWRi. Quit supporting the man and he will be forced to go away.

Just what Macon Speedway doesn't need; an owner accused of pocketing money. Bring back Chris Kearns.

Just a fan, but POWRi has lost a lot of cred in recent years it would appear. A decade ago they were putting on midget shows that were equal to a USAC show imo. Now they seem to have fallen off in terms of prestige & stories like this don't help. They used to really put on some burners at Jacksonville when Rico & Bell were running the Kunz cars.

Seen a Indoor Powri show in Duquoin and they had 68. most of their races had 35-45

But lets run Wing, NW. Probably 305 and Extreme

Pfft.

Yes - those DuQuoin indoor shows always ripped. Powri & USAC both. Powri has also delved into full bodied racing with a late model series.

POWRi will sanction anything that will pay them a sanctioning fee. They have completely watered down their brand. I am waiting for the school bus sanction.

Don't give Kenny any ideas.

What we've got here is... failure to communicate.

Ya...the 1st post seemed to have a lot of gaps in it...

Reading POWRi's responSe, it kinda made more sense.

Perhaps people just need to just wait a few days...

This all stems from a race that happened September 14, 2024. It doesn't take any other series that long to straighten things out when there's a situation like this.

I'd even speculate that Bourke Motorsports posting that and bringing the situation to more people's awareness is what got Scott Bogucki paid.

Ok. So when will Powri address all the other times Kenny has taken money from people?

Joe Schaub 4/27/25 4:39 PM

Such as when?

Just curious as I hadn't heard about this.
