I'm with you. Here in Springfield right now it is 1 with a -16 wind chill and going down. We could form a caravan. Bet lots of people from around here would be glad to join. And yes, I know that our friends in Wisconsin and Minnesota think we are a bunch of candy xxxxx.

candy xxxxxxx's or not well be warm and watch racing all year long pretty much.I will tell you it will be south florida because Ill tell you in the panhandle if your close to the ocean 50 is like 20 here.

Been to Florida and I don't like the hot weather and it does get a little cool at times...lol!

Most people like the Southern, Ca weather. Doesn't change all that much.

Too many people and too much traffic in Southern California and that is why when most people go racing in Southern Ca they leave early in the morning and get to the track before noon. Pits may not open unti 3:00 PM, but if you leave later in the day you could be stuck in traffic for 3 hours to go 100 miles..lol!

Here in west central Florida it is cold too. The next couple of nights are expected to be be below freezing. Low 60s for highs. Not much warmer in Miami or Key West. Feels cold, but then, I reckon its not bad considering the temps at home... and in Tulsa. :thumbsdown:

Yeah, I was through Miami yesterday. It was probably the first time I boarded a plane in Miami and it was too cold inside.

Yes, but you guys have lots of bars to keep you warm!

What we really need is for Al Gore:loser: to blow some of his HOT AIR about "global warming" our way and send the cold air back to Canada where they like it.

It was -14 on the digital thermometer here this morning (6:30) when Clint and me left to work on some gelled up semi trucks. Had them going by 11am and back to the shop for lunch, not that missing lunch would be bad for me:O:

Here in sw lower Michigan (about 5 miles from Lake Michigan) it is way too cold, and we have run out of room to put the snow. Still snowing right now, and probably another foot of it on the way. There will be a day when my plow and shovel are for sale...and I can't wait!

It was a lovely -25 here in Sioux Falls, SD yesterday morning. Thank god there was no wind with it! Is it July yet???

Dyno Don knows where to head for, yesterday we had a high of 79 here in Phoenix. The next seven days are forecast in the 70's. When friends and family call from back east and remind me that it is 5 degrees it sure puts in perspective my thoughts of moving back east to be closer to my new grandson and daughter. Weather like the northeast and mid-west have been experiencing this past week reminds me family is just a short plane ride away.

For anyone close to trading the snow blower and shovel in for a warmer climate there are great deals on houses in the Phoenix area right now. I just heard of a 2400 sq. ft. house selling for $101.000.00 in the west valley. Even if you are several years away from retirement it might be the right time to buy a new home in a warm climate area. Something to dream about on a cold winters day!

She's been great about cleaning up the snow this winter. These days everybody wants their wife to work for the double income. Not me, i like my stay at home Mom. It gets me out of a lot of work having her home all day. We have 4 kids between the ages of 4 and 11 so she has her hands full.
