Western World

The Western World is going back to Yuma after being scheduled at Casa Grande. Would be nice to see a few Midwest cars but not being National sanction I won't hold my breath. Not sure what the purse looks like. Should still be a good event.

Well, Cocopah is a much nicer facility than Casa Grande, and requires less travel for the mostly California based teams, but it's an additional 3 hours +/- for all the fans from the Phoenix and Tucson areas.

All true statements but I don't mind the drive from New River. We stay over at the casino. They have decent rooms and it's a super short drive to the track. Hoping for a respectable car count.

Outstanding facility. I hope it’s a great success!

The week has finally arrived! The weather forecast is fantastic with high's in the mid 80's and lows near 60. I was hoping a couple midwestern cars would have made the trip but with the rain out at Red Dirt I seriously doubt it. There will be a few drivers though. Matt Westfall is driving a car for Kevin Turner. And unfortunately I don't think it's on Flo and I am really not sure why? I think when Perris ousted Flo they said forget the CRA series all together.

Kevin Thomas Jr will be there driving the Chris Bonneau Motorsports car in both the 360+410 races.:32:

If it is not on FLO, and it is not a sanctioned national event, it ain't worth watching. JMHO

Thanks for that bit of info CRA91! Kyle Cummins drove for Jack Yeley last year but with the new baby I doubt they will be there.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but man that's rough. You must not get out much. Lol. There are a lot of races all over the country that I wish were on Flo sometimes but aren't. Especially in Indiana.

Races at Cocopah are typically on Speed Sport TV as a PPV. The CRA races were shown on there earlier this season. Looks like they’ll be up as a PPV again this year. https://speedsport.tv/videos/30446

I thought Cocopah had a streaming deal with another outfit (Dirtvision?) and that's why Flo didn't stream the CRA races at Cocopah. I think that was the case in 2022 and it may still be the case.

And, yes, it's a really nice facility.

I went there once for the winged races a few years back, pretty cool place. Right next to the casino, if you're into that....(not me)
But GOOD MEXICAN FOOD in Yuma!!!!! :) :) :)

I was able to get there a couple of times a few years ago. Yes, it is a really nice facility. I agree with the food reviews, but what surprised me was that I found a really good German restaurant there. Compared favorably with those I went to in West Germany back in the day.
