Circle City and DT therapy
Yo it’s after 7 o’clock and there’s still a push truck parade, graders, and side by sides on the track. Not starting on time. Get the matches, pitchforks, and burn it down. Omg and they are still registering the Crown Vics. Unbelievable. Hope you don’t have to work tomorrow. Everyone enjoy the night, have fun, and safe travels. :32:

7:10 and they just blew the 8 minute horn. Time to kick the tires and light the fires.
|
I don't get it. A premier event and it's 45 minutes past the posted start time. Weather isn't an issue. This kind of stuff keeps me away.

Gee after all the gnashing of teeth earlier they finished the midgets at 10:15, not bad, huh?
|
Re: Circle City and DT therapy
They didn’t even run the Crown Vic heats or B until after the midget feature! That’s the only reason why! :14:

If anything, it opens the door to further complaints and efforts to shut the dirt track down. If fans of any class want this track to continue hosting events like this, time management is essential. |

I imagine that another reason they ran midgets first is that they are louder. Maybe trying to appease the neighbors a little. It didnt take another hour to run the rest of the show. Why would you think I am bragging?

Re: Circle City and DT therapy
You people b*tch about everything.:15: "Don't run support classes, the show goes to late". They keep the midget portion running, get you out at a good time, and still on here complaining. I can assure you the crown vic guys knew exactly what was going to happen. They are typically at the end of the program. As for them signing in at 7pm.... yes they are mainly blue color workers. They don't get to race for a living. Many of them work in shops across the city that do not close until 5pm. Lastly on the track prep side. This new ownership has had what 4 to 6 races now. O ya lets not forget, they changed the surface over the winter. I think some of you have been hanging out at the big tracks to much. :5:

I haven't been there this year, but it looks like they solved the rock problem! Let me be the first to congratulate and thank them for spending probably a lot of money to address a problem. |
Re: Circle City and DT therapy
The second nite in a row I streamed it on my TV instead of watching on the computer. It was so behind schedule-wise, with nothing to see other than water trucks, an occasional 5 minutes of hot laps, and 10 minutes for qualifying. I just don't get it. Needless to say, I didn't make it past qualifying either night. Tonight I may try watching on my laptop and keep the TV free to watch during the downtimes. I enjoy watching open-wheel dirt racing. It's what brought me to this site many moons ago. :22:

DT must be in Therapy today. I expected to see another 25 or 30 posts from last nights racing from him,and a rock report too...

Re: Circle City and DT therapy
I appreciated the wide range of discounts provided by the promotor. ( Military, seniors, teachers and handicap) Not something seen at other tracks

We thought it was a great show. Got done at a reasonable time. The action was so fast and furious you almost didn’t know who to watch. Looking forward my first visit there in the future. So far IMW has been a rousing success!
