Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
I am hoping to find a new interest in the companies of video games for a new Sprint car game. thanks

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
I think that it would be nice to have some kind of a "Triple Crown" game. You start off in local 410 sprints then move your way up the ladder through USAC and compete for the Triple Crown

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?

I think the USAC deal would be fun.Midgets, sprints, and silver crown. The old silver crown cars though not the *******'s they got now.My wife would probably divorce me though because it would be all I would do when I was home.Hey maybe that could be a way for USAC to make money.Come up with a game USAC.

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
I'd be willing to actually buy a 360 or PS3 just to be able to play a GOOD sprint car game...

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
Id like to see a racing game that starts you out in oval dirt karts, then moves you up to TQ midgets, then midgets both pavement and dirt, and then 410's, silver crowns, etc etc etc.

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
I'd be happy with just a decent sprint car game on dirt for the PS3 or Xbox 360. Midgets and all that other stuff would just be bonus.
How bout a game where you run sprints for a season or two then jump into Nascar? :headbang |

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
wat would be some good ideas for a new game? classes, series, schedules, racetracks, etc.

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
Dirt (Colin McRae Rally series) came out a couple years back and was easily my favorite racing game in a long long time. It excelled at one thing... diversity. You got to drive WRC cars in beautifully rendered rally stages from all over the world, but also got to compete in some CORR races, offroad buggies, trial trucks (read buss racing on dirt), rallycross, crossover stages and hill climbs (pikes peak anyone?). The core of the game was rally stages, but something like a 1/3 of the game was a diverse mix that kept the game fresh.
Soooo.... I would love to see sprints, midgets, silver crowns, modifieds, late models, winged sprints, figure 8's, dirt, clay, pavement... the more diverse, the better. |
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
I can't wait for something like that to come out!
A USAC game that included sprints, midgets, and Silver Crown cars would be awesome. Honestly, though, a new updated version of the Ratbag World of Outlaws game would be great too. Whatever the format of the game may be, though, I believe the success of it depends on having REAL tracks, REAL cars, and REAL drivers. Anything else would flop. |

ttt post ideas if you want

Making a new sprint car game for xbox360 or ps3 would be the most awesome thing ever!! iv been waiting since 2002 for another sprint car game thats worth playing.. if one was made i would be the first person to buy it and know a thousand other ppl that would too. being a sprint car driver games like that help keep your focus on racing an is a positive thing in my opinion. Now make the dam game already!!!!!!

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
There is supposed to be a new WoO game for next gen consoles(PS3, XBox 360) coming out this year, but havent heard anything lately on it.
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
It should be a 2 player game. PS3 does not have many 2 player games.
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
it would be cool to have it be usac and the tracks are tracks that are on there schedule like bloomington and gas city but also like manzanita and perris auto speedway. and you could pick whatever kinda car you wanted and went trough the whole schedule. how great would that be.

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
YES PLEASE DO COME WITH ANOTHER ONE!!! but with beter graphics the first 2 were bad the tires looked like they were flat on the ground i have both of them for ps2 showdown to eldora and road to knoxville and the one for the puter... everyone vote yes!!!!!

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
post on hoseheads says new PS3 WoO game coming out at the end of the year

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
I heard that there is going to be one coming out in December. But I have found one game that is very realistic with all real tracks it is Rfactor. They have about every type of racing class you can think of with many tracks but its only for computer. Check it out rfactorcentral.com

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
Rfactor is awesome, me and some buddies play it all the time, I have the most fun in the late models, and the vhr sprint cup cars
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
A new sprint game is definately needed and the newer consoles would provide a platform for amazing graphics and gameplay
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
Yes, yes, yes and it needs options to go non-wing sprint car racing and midgtets too!!!
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
The Asian gentleman that drove Scooter Ellis' sprint car last year is a game designer from Japan. He did a lot of the rally and road race games. I believe that he was driving the car as research for a new sprint car game.
It would be cool if it had a guitar simulator included so you could rock out after the races like T. Funk and the Homewreckers. :32: Road to the Triple Crown would be a great game. Start out in 410 local sprints. After you have won enough races to prove you are 16 then you move to Focus midgets! Wait, maybe that would be too realistic. |
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
It would be awesome to see a non wing 360 game with a big curb that would toss the nose when u slammed the cushion, Forza, Dirt, Colin McRae, F1(ps3), and the first WoO are the best games ever!!!! IMO...
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
A second version of the old dirt to daytona game would be nice but start in sprints instead of the stock cars and get somebody like Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon behind it and call it something like Rise to Fame. That probably make it popular to make an incentive to make it good wouldn't it?
|
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
As was mentioned...if we could get a short track game with diversity...WOO Sprints, WOO Late Models, Lucas Late Models, non-winged sprints, pure stock...dirt, pavement...the more the better, good variety of tracks...it's a dream...hope it comes true soon. I think it would sell a ton. They should sell it at every track, they'd make a ton.

I am all for a new Sprint Car game. Unfortunately, I think if one comes out, it will be sprints with wings, which would follow all the previous editions. I would be much more excited if a non-winged version came out, but all we can do is hope! I will be honest, I don't think the demand is there for a game like this, especially on the next gen consoles (PS3 and 360). I consider myself an avid gamer, and my fear is that a no name developer would pick up the idea, and they would release it as one of these $39.99 games which would play just like a $39.99 game. (fun for a week, if that) Keep in mind, most games are $59.99. So what we can hope for is that a big name developer picks this up, and does a great job at putting out a good product. Oh well, thanks for starting a thread like this.. I will keep my eyes out for a WoO game on PS3 and if they have one, I will pick it up because that's the way I roll! :6: |
Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the market?
well in previous Sprint Car games you have to start out in a miget then work your way up like: Showdown to Eldora for PS2, and Road to Knoxville also for PS2. bothe have Migets,Non-Wings,Winged, Late Models, and motifieds you can choose from its the tracks in the games that are so very few. They also need more options to buy mods for the motors, weight reductions, special shocks, tires ect ect ect.... and the late 90s computer sprint car game has all of that the newer ones do not. also the Graphix SUCK tires look like octagons almost half the tire is missing on the track... Japan Please help!!! hahahaha
|
Ya would be bad ass to have a game with usac and especially modifieds. Have people like bryan clauson and Dave darland in sprints and guys like Devin Gilpin and nick Allen or Joey Kramer in mods. It would be cool if it had realistic body roll and u could carry the left front!!!

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the
There is one right now made by Allen's out of PA.

If you're looking for a good video game/simulator for dirt sprints, midgets, micro sprints, modifieds, late models etc. I highly recommend rfactor, I race online with big names like Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson, And Kevin Swindell
rfactor.net |
Long as it doesn't suck like the Xbox 360 game does.

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the
2013 Dave Darland skin I did and put in rFactor. Even running at Gas City :)

Re: Would you like to see a new Sprint Car Video Game on the
Actually, there IS a modern sprint car game out right now. iRacing. It's not really a game though since it drives more like a simulator. It's also different than the other driving games because you don't buy the game, you subscribe to the service instead. iRacing has a non-wing pavement sprint car series that enables you to race against other real people online (no "artificial" cars). All of the tracks are real, and the car adjustments are far more realistic than the Ratbag game from 10 years ago. The realism is FAR superior to any other racing game I have played. iRacing also has the Silver Crown car, but it's the silly Hoover vacuum model from a few years ago. If you haven't checked out iRacing, go take a peek.
