There was a lot of talk about this a couple weeks ago in this thread too. I'm thinking, especially since they have the TSR #14 scheduled from the Friday night qualifier, (so as to minimize the time he has to stay) that it's a very real possibility that he might run in the 14.

Tony is scheduled to be in Daytona for Fanfest that day at 6pm for an autograph session and other things at the track

Heres what the site says- NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide & Truck Series Drivers are scheduled to appear at NASCAR's Preseason Thunder Fan Fest scheduled for Friday & Saturday, January 16 & 17, 2009 at Daytona Beach Speedway. Tickets, which go on sale Saturday, Dec. 20 9:00am/et, are $15 with autograph session availability limited to only 100 people per driver in advance.

Stewart, now owner of his NASCAR Sprint Cup team, confirmed that this was his only indoor racing appearance of the winter. He said he will attend the Chili Bowl Nationals next month in Tulsa, Okla., but won’t race due to other commitments.

Yeah and in 2004 He was run under the name Mikey Fedorcak from Nawbone, Indiana on the first night of the Rumble series in Ft. Wayne. His "cover" was blown when he went out and destroyed the field and won.

I have the official word of the driver of the #14 TSR Chili Bowl Midget

TS's was asked for assistance from his hero AJ with getting seat time for one of his drivers

The driver of the Midget will be Vitor Meira and the #14 is a referance to his number in the IRL

The reason for the date change is due to Vitor's judging during a national celebration in Brazil celebrating the thing they are most famous for............a brazilain wax

The only reason Foyt took the #14 was because of how dominant Vuky was at indy in a car #14. #14 is actually Vuk's number, not Foyt's.

Meira? Not that would be funny as hell to watch.

I heard from a bail bondsman that he was in jail for beating his wife. Sounds funny, but heard it from a couple people.

I was listening to Tony on his show a few shows back and he made reference that he was having Ryan Newman coming to the Chili Bowl. My guess is that since Ryan has raced those types of cars before, he may be the person representing TSR in the #14.

Ryan was supposed to run a Corey Tucker car last year but other commitments apparently came up... Be cool too see him back in a midget. :thumb

Sammy just got bailed out today. His plans are as of now to try and run the bowl in the 14 tsr car, on wed night
