Re: MSCS on tap May 14th
Looking like a great day for a race at the Class Track! We are having a special get together today along the Hwy side in Honor of the late great Cowboy Jim Georges. Look for the canopy's and Hoosier Flag flying high. Please stop by and tell a story or dozen, and have a beverage with us!
|
Was looking to the get together and to tell a lie or two at Jim's expense. Just didn't work out. For those in attendance, have a great time. Loretta and I will always remember Jim and his humor and his pranks. He was one of a kind. Race on Jimmy....

Wouldn’t surprise me if Jim did this on purpose, just so we could do it again.

Lo and behold, I was sent a marvelous plate of ribs, pork sandwich, salad, veggies and even dessert. I very much enjoyed it, and it reminded me of the many times Jim and I searched out and enjoyed barbecue during our trips to the races. A fitting tribute to the man who enjoyed auto racing and good food, especially barbecue, so much. |
