Idk, I mean I see Dave mac motorsports, a slew of CB, KKM cars, Rudeen, Bundy… plus it’s a Powri co show so maybe see some of their top talent I would guess unless the weather scares some off.

I hope FCR has their ---- together in regards to adequate push vehicles and organization of the midget portion of the event. The vast majority of spectators will be there exclusively for the dirt late models. This is a hard core DLM venue and the patience will not be in abundance for an open wheel support class dragging out the show. The grumbling among the natives will be long and loud if the perception is that the "tumble buggies" are holding up the show. Especially since the overnight lows are forecast to be in the low to mid 30's.
Looking forward to this show with snowmobile suit and 3 pairs of socks on standby! |
ISF, I couldn’t agree more. With the forecast I’m surprised they didn’t reschedule this event. Hopefully our concerns are addressed and the potential pitfalls of midgets are not exposed to a different hard core fan base. Hopefully not a lot of spins or crashes as well. If it goes well it could generate some new fans. If it’s bad, it could be really bad. 30 degrees tends to take the fun out of almost any race

I asked several times if they needed a good push truck and never heard back

So if i have to run the semi, i still have to run the same tire for the feature. That will be a lot of laps on one tire.

Re: Farmer City - Xtreme Outlaw Midget pre entries 35+
Farmer City is notorious for their big late model shows running late. They'd get off to late starts, qualify most every division and seem disorganized. When you start having features past 11pm, race fans had a legitimate reason to complain. Add in Indiana fans losing an hour driving home, I finally gave up on them. I believe one show last year got done early because they rushed it through due to a rain storm coming. This is their big chance to impress fans. Hope they are successful.
